Will the second coming of Madeleine Murray O’Hair launch evangelical atheists into the next step in spiritual growth?
Most experts agree Ms. O’Hair is currently enjoying the Braxton-Hicks Contraction of the between-lives ether. Soon, they assert, she’ll re-emerge to assist evangelical atheists toward transcending, as she’ll have done, the faith-void she mapped for them during her last lifetime in Austin, Texas.

Statistics show atheists await this second coming and new awakening with great enthusiasm.

However, experts are dismayed concerning who will lead the Fundamentalist Christians in their inevitable lifetimes of post-Christian soon to emerge atheists, once the post-O’Hair movement recedes. Atheists will be forced, experts agree, to find the O’Hair charm and charisma in some new leader emerging from a previous life as a Fundamentalist Christian.

do you think i'm starting to grow angel wings?

When I was a teen, and still counted myself as a christian, I often found myself asking "god" for guidance in important decision making, looking for signs and such to help me find the right way to go. Unfortunately that never worked out, and I'm an atheist now. I usually use logic, or my heart to guide me now-a-days, but even those things haven't been as helpful as they should be at times. I guess I'm looking for opinions and personal experiences from anyone who has a good source for reliable guidance or divination of sorts. All faiths and opinions welcome. Thanks.

was impaled not crucified..Is this what you guys believe? Please answer this and clear this up for myself as I didn't understand fully if this is actually what your religion believe..

I answered the question that was asked by a man..and said that I didn't think that this is what you believe..I did think that you believe he was on a tree or a single peice of wood. Too me, that is not really an issue..The fact that he died for us..a very painful death..for each and every person.

You God lovers go to Church so many times a week so why do you need to post on here as well? Wouldnt it be like talking about George Bush? It would get boring after a short time. And how come none of you have a sense of humour? We are here for a good time, not a long time. If you are open to converting to the Atheists, let me know. We will welcome you with open arms, cash & prizes for the first 100 people.

and whether gay marriage somehow devalues straight marriage.

The point of my earlier comment/question was that, beyond Christ's message about the last being first, etc, the first-hired workers' complaints about unfairness were met by their employer with the observation that they had freely agreed to those wages and hours as fair and that it was no concern of theirs what he paid anyone else.

My point was that if you swear before God to be faitlhful to your spouse, etc, etc, the validity of that vow is not diminished just because someone else later makes the same vow, whether you agree that they should be allowed to make that vow or not.

Are you all claiming that you should be released from your vows just because somewhere a gay couple's pastor allowed them to make the same vow? If you think they're all sinners of the worst sort, are you saying that sin trumps righteousness?

I say you have enough to do keeping your own house in order.

Corinthians 11:28....
"Everyone is to examine himself and only then eat of the bread or drink from the cup: because a person who eats and drinks without recognizing the body is eating and drinking his own condemnation. That is why many of you are weak and ill and a good number have died."

John 6
"I am the Bread that came down from heaven"
John 6:52
They understood Jesus' meaning clearly. He was not talking symbolic anymore.

Read all of chapter 6? Why were the Jews so upset?
"Anyone who does eat my flesh and drink my blood has eternal life in him......"
"For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me and I live in that person."

I like to donate food and other items to our local share & care. It makes me feel good to help out people I know that really need it also. Right now I don't really know anyone personally that really needs help. How could I find a family in my area (72601) that needs donations of food, clothes, school supplies, etc.??? Does it seem selfish that I like to know the people I am helping? It just makes me feel good to see the faces of the people I am helping when I give them stuff they can use.

Atheistic and spiteful answers will be ignored, or flagged, depending on the level of intolerance to religion. Plus, if I wanted your opinion, I would have asked for it. (No doubt I'll end up getting some anyway, but oh well)

They're also pushing their atheist agendas on society, by teching our younguns that we evolved from a bunch of monkeys.
