The one I believe in is too complex to be forced into either dominant US party's little political boxes though there are many on both sides who try their best to force him into theirs.

Try the biblical Jesus, who displayed facets of both camps mentioned above (healing, compassion for sinners, along with calling people a "brood of vipers" when they needed to hear that).
