She has every thing to remain on the top. why she has to send her troup to oil country , to kill her dear people and the innocent child and women? why? Why? why?

Facts:
Women are abused everywhere.*
Domestic violence exists everywhere**
We live in a male dominated society***
Muslim women in eastern countries are abused****

However where Western women have achieved freedom in many aspects of there life eastern women have not.
Why is that? CULTURE!
people make the mistake of mixing culture with religion all the time. Islam does not say to treat women badly , Islam says that both are equal. Hijab is mandatory for women but if they do not wish to wear it there husbands can't force them to wear it because its between them and God. Muslim women get 1/2 of the inheritance because in Islam men is the one who is responsible for money and food and shelter, women get to keep there money. Islam lets women have careers and every freedom.
but where there is good there is also bad.
Muslim countries men treat women as second class citizens.
Even in Pakistan, I used to live there till I turned 12 then we moved. I remember never wanting to get married lol

If you say it just always existed. That dog just doesn't hunt. Time is a measure of movement and each atom has movement because of energy. Pick any point and say it began here, where did it get the energy to start? Without a Creator, where did a single atom begin?

God creates Adam and Eve, they are disobedient to God, God punishes them severely with hardship and death. They have children, Cain kill his brother, God tells him to leave and go far away, after a few years human population grows, God's angels look at human females with desire, they come down and take them as wifes. All Humanity turns disobedient to God except Noah. God feels hurt by Humanity and regrets ever creating them. He tells Noah to build an arc. God sends the flood and everyone dies execpt Noah and his sons. An now humanity finds itself in a similar situation. So God will again get rid of humans that reject him.

What do you think? Does it make sense to believe in God? Is there another way God could have created intelligent free will life without having this mess?

I mean it. I didn't have any of my questions answered by any Christians. They answer things like "Jesus will save you when you accept Him as your Lord", or they quote passages of the Bible they can't understand themselves, or they detour the subject as they please. I am 26, I believe in God, read and believe in the Bible but do not come from a overly religious family and never went to church as a child....

Today, I pray daily, read the Bible often but still do not go to church.......The way I see it is that as long as you believe, you do not need to go to a particular building or place to worship and pray and that God will hear you no matter where you are.

Is there anything wrong with that?

The "live & let live" mantra that so many espouse in here really bugs me.

Theists of any kind provide a base for fundamentalists to build on.

It's like the old adage about pot leading to harder drugs. It dosn't for most, but for many it does. I used to think that line was a load of crap, but life experience has taught me otherwise.

Fundamentalists have a much harder time trying to recruit atheists to their cause than theists.

On top of that, belief in gods, creation and an afterlife is delusional.

Is there any other delusion that we consider acceptable for our loved ones to cling to?

Or do you try and bring them around to sanity?

I am very disappointed in some moms who I have seen teaching their kids to lie on the phone, or to cheat on tests or to wear Sleaze clothes and I am talking about 9-13 year olds here. Now I know that religion might not play a role in many people's lives. But I recall that back in the day these people were taught good things like : good morals, teaching goodness and innocence. It might not be what goes on now a days due to people getting away from religion or is this because of something else? Why are some moms supporting this kind of behavior? Is lack of religion or just plain lack of morals?

How come not 1 single group can ever decide on what it means to be a true follower. We constantly see one group claim to be the "true way" but they spend so much time fighting with other groups who have the same idea but different message. We see different groups of Muslims and Christians doing this constantly. My question is, if your ways are "right" ways , how come none of you can ever agree with each other? I mean it's not like you all have 15 different holy books with different messages, What would you say is the reason for the lack of unity amongst Christians and Muslims?
