For those of you who know me.....for those of you who don"t, please bear with me for a moment.


I have changed my name from Lysdexic ( I found this funny, because I am hopelessly dyslexic, and I was hoping that is would make it easier for all of you to understand that I make a lot of spelling errors).

My new name is to direct some people to a link httpsilentlambs.org because I was abused and silenced by these people and every time I try to post a question concerning Jehovah's Witnesses and the child abuse cover up issue, I get my question taken down for violating some hidden rule.

I refuse to be silenced any longer.......

In the past I have receives some vicious replies from Jehovahs Witnesses....we'll see what happens this time.....

Religious people have faith and believe that god exists, and in their respective litterature.

Atheists belive and have faith that there is no god and the bible is BS.

What's the difference if you really think about it? They're just opposite results but the exact same way of thinking. So, why do you argue? The answer is facts, you argue about facts and the lack of facts. It's a catch 22, no one can win or even end a conversation so why bother?

A certain 15yo, who I love dearly, thinks that she is not anywhere near as interesting as her friends are. She thinks that people find her boring.

I, personally, think that she is smart, funny, has a fascinating point of view, has a life filled with twists, turns & challenges she's overcome - but, that she's shy, self-concious, not very confident and, like many people, hasn't yet learned to love herself for who she is...

And, of course, it's not *me* that she's trying to impress with her interestingness. She knows that I love her all of the time, just for who she is.

But, anyway, what are some tips, techniques & advice for becoming a more interesting person. What makes a person interesting to you? What makes you interesting? What advice would you give to someone who thinks that they are not interesting, but who wants to be?

Not all people do this but a lot of people act like I am a complete moron because I am not Christian. I know how to read. I know all about Christianity. I'm not stupid and I don't live under a rock. So why do some people assume I must be a complete moron just because I don't agree with them?

The Bible Luke 24:36 While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them,

The Bible John 20:21 Again Jesus said,

The Bible John 20:26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said,
" Peace be with you ! "

Seems Yashua ( Isa / Jesus) said that often. When he spoke such, it probably sounded closer to " As Salaam Alaikum " then it did to the English " Peace be with you ", as Jesus was not a European in the classical usage of the word.

As far back as the records of religion go, men have been struggling against temptation. But what is temptation? Traditional descussions have defined it in tems of dogmas and taboos. Many a modern mind no longer finds such terms acceptable, yet temptation is certainly a very real thing for almost all of us. I do understand that this is not a view shared by all Christians and I have no intentions of disrespect...just curious. I have not threatened anyone, preached my belief system, advertised ill will; yet, if I wear a triple moon charm or pentacle charm there are some who give ugly looks, words, etc.

Why is faith a virtue? In what sense? Where's the virtue in believing in the existence of something or someone without evidence or with contradictory evidence? In what sense it makes us better people to follow that we can't see or percieve through any of our other senses? Wouldn't that just turn us into a bunch of naive blind idiotic retards to wander around believing in anything? Wouldn't it be better to have "reason" as the most valuable virtue instead, since it has lead us to truth more than sheer blind faith?

People are always saying it's easier to learn another language once you've learned one, and I somehow find that difficult to believe. I mean, wouldn't knowing a different language confuse you? And...what about knowing one foreign language would make it easier to comprehend another?
I am just wondering because I am in advanced Spanish and once I have mastered it, I was thinking of moving on to German or French. I just don't know...

yesterday i was at the dr. office. i had brought along my new harry potter book to read while i was waiting. two girls and one boy came and sat beside me. one girl -procdeeded to tell them all about the ending while the other girl said "shut up shes still reading." the girl said "i dont care" and the other girl said "well i know you dont but i do." then the girl telling the story glared at me. the boy mearly smiled at me like "im sorry." grrrrrrr

I think that we should try not to comment on each other's religion and try to be happy with our religion of choice, explain it if someone asks and let the other people be. You can politely explain your beliefs, but not attack the other person's belief.

In the end we gain nothing by attacking each other do we?
