I used to be a Yankee fan. I now realize that they are evil and living a deviant lifestyle. Now I am a Mets fan. If I can convert why can't you Yankee fans convert too?

nycguy: Don't take offense to it. I love all NY sports teams. This is simply a parody of religous zealots that try to "convert" people to heterosexuality.

Nice try Jake, but you should know that no matter what type of fan you claim to be now, if you are a yankee fan at heart, you always will be. It's just a matter of whether you are strong enough and honest enough with yourself to live the yankee fan lifestyle and accept it as who you are. It WILL be tough as a yankee fan, because there are many narrow minded people in the world who hate yankees. Try not to hate or dislike them though, it is simply ignorance that causes them to hate and not accept yankee fans for the baseball fans they are.
Good Luck and best wishes in your life as a Mets fan. Hopefully, there will be a time when you can feel proud to be a yankee fan, live as a yankee fan, and be accepting, happy and satisfied with who you really are.

ALL of you are deviants. I am a Braves fan, and the only true fans are Braves Fans!!
Conversion therapy won't work on me, because the Yankees AND the Red Sox both tried to convert me when I moved to VT...can't be done, sorry LOL.

Sorry Jake,
I'm a Mariners fan; they are America's farm team... Where would Ken Griffey, Jr., Alex Rodriguez, Randy Johnson, Willy Bloomquist, Jamie Moyer, and John Olerud have gotten their starts, if not for The M's?
I wonder if there is conversion therapy for weirdos like me on the left coast, over here.

Who's a Yankee fan?
I'm a Cubs fan, granted that might very well be concidered as a "deviant lifestyle" in some neighborhoods...but it's MY lifestyle and I like it!

Oh man, that was not the way to go. Only the true believers would be Braves fans. You are wrong and I am right.

You don't understand, wicked blasphemer
Yankees are the one TRUE faith. You have been deceived if you think their unselfish, pure-hearted behavior is anthing short of perfection.

I really like the way you put that. So many religious groups try to "save us from sin" so that we can deemed "fit" in their eyes. They try to make us feel guilty by sayin "if we can do it.. do can you" thanks for posting that
