I always believed in God & Satan - the Christian beliefs,
sort of. I was deciding to follow or not follow them at a young
age. For a while, I did not want to have to answer
to God - any god - wanted to do my own thing, but then
I realized the Love and Power of God - it was revealed to
me by the Holy Spirit. I realized life was only worth while
with worshiping God.

I don't think what religion one was raised before about the age of 10 to 12 really can count....but I always doubted the existence of a god, even though I was raised R/Catholic. I only went to church with school and the priests were creepy closet cases.

Before: simple polytheist who honored my deities. No name for my religious practices.

After: Celtic Reconstructionist. I found a name for what I do.

Not much change though. I'd be just as happy calling my practices, "Other" like I used to.

As a child, I was simply indifferent to the question of religion -- it simply was never discussed in the Chateau de Soleil.

Now, I would side with Douglas Adams in labelling myself a radical atheist (he threw in "radical" so that no one would ever mistake him for an agnostic)....
