Atheistic and spiteful answers will be ignored, or flagged, depending on the level of intolerance to religion. Plus, if I wanted your opinion, I would have asked for it. (No doubt I'll end up getting some anyway, but oh well)

God is the energy that created everything. She is the unmoved mover. If you look at a pen, you see it as a whole, right? but if you put the pen under a microscope you will notice that their are atoms that are moving at super speed and that we cannot see. And becuase of the speed of the energy it creates matter to be whole, to be solid. However, it will change form. And will never be destroyed, energy can never be destroyed only change.
What religions put in terms of rules to follow God are not really true, they are only meant to control the masses to fit the male model of the world. God needs nothing, God does not punish, God does not hate. He only wish to experience life with us, through us. We are co-creators with God. We have already contributed to the common good by being physical. He gave us tools to which we can create the life we wish. God has no judgement, that is why we have free will, to live life in accordance to Who We Are and Who We Want To Be. We are our own rule maker. We can only condemn ourselves. God merely observes. The ultimate reality has already been written which has billions and billions of possibilities, God is so perfect, God is so loving, that no matter what path we take we are never separated, we end up in the same place the same home. We just voluntarily forgot before coming into this world. We have been doing this all eternity.

Our body is our church, that is where we heal our hurt, for tonight God is a Dj! We Are One!

I believe God is real...not only because of the research I've done, but because of what God has done in MY life. Funny, I used to have pretty bad depression. It came and went, but when it came on, it was BAD. It was all I could do to eat and sleep. Even crying took too much strength. It usually hit me for about six months out of the year (spring through fall). I've been a Christian for nine months, and I haven't gotten depressed yet.

Then there are the other changes. I have no desire to drink heavily anymore, like I did before. I used to swear like a sailor (I even offended my husband, who is a US soldier in an infantry unit). I haven't sworn for nine months.

My husband and I used to argue a lot. I think we've had all of MAYBE six arguments the last nine months. We still bicker a lot, but we rarely start shouting at each other. And usually...our arguments (the bad ones) consist of him shouting and cursing at me, and me calming him down because I refuse to. I'm not going to pretend that it's ME that has caused this. It's completely and totally God. I'm more patient now, more understanding, more generous, and just, in general, more calm. I don't worry about things any more. I KNOW God will take care of us.

There's more...but I figure this is long enough. And I know I'm not alone. It amazes me what God has done in other peoples' lives as well. I am 99% convinced that there is a God, and He cares about all of us.

I am a devout catholic. I chose this because this is what makes me happy. I feel God everywhere. I see God everywhere. I see him in a Tulip. I see him in the simplicity of a grain of rice. I hear him in my children's laughter and also feel him in my tears.

I chose God over medication when I was severely depressed. I am no longer depressed. I chose God and the natural healing of my body over OTC medication and quick pain relief. I still have some pain today, but it is a gentle reminder for me to "slow down" and "de-stress" and "enjoy life".

He lifts me up, but he also reminds me to walk "on the path" of the sheep. Through obedience and love, I am rewarded. Not through selfishness and empty belief. I do as my Father says, not as Man says.

I believe in God because he has become evident to me so many times. I feel his presence, he has helped me to change to the person I am today. I mean, I do doubt sometimes, but I eventually become stronger in faith after those times. I am here, I am alive and those are two other reasons I believe in God. I have faith in him and I trust in him, and when I fully do, I feel good inside. That might not have much evidence to it, but that is how I know.
