everytime i turn on the news its always about ''paris hilton in jail'' or ''paris hilton OUT of jail''...or ''lindsay lohan arrested, once again''- why can't the media talk about more important issues like darfur, poverty or global warming...why does the whole world have to revolve around celebrities

i am so worried i will not go to heaven and be with the Lord who i love above all things because there is a passage that says it is harder for a rich man/woman to enter heaven than it is for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. does this mean im doomed?? i am not bragging, but i am very well to do. however i try to be humble and love God over any possesions or people i meet.

I have a question that has been on my mind since I woke up today. Muslim women are supposed to be victims in the eyes of haters, right? By haters, I mean those who won't listen to anything no matter what anyone tells them, they already have their minds set and feel threatened by anything that changes that. So why is it that when we supposed victims come on here and prove that we don't feel what nonmuslims claim we do, we are terrorized? We are sent death threats, hate mail, told are children deserve death for being muslim, all kinds of nonsense, for stating how we honestly feel and what we honestly see around us. No, most of us are not forced to wear hijab, and some men like my ex husband actually fight with us to take it off at times. So why further victimize the victims? Women are not the ones doing the anti islamic suicide bombing, so why attack the ones you claim are the victims? Just curious.

I would like to know how Catholics feel about the Catholic Charismatic movement, and if any attend Charismatic Mass. Vatican II mentioned the idea of how the Holy Spirit gives gifts: "[The Holy Spirit] also distributes special graces among the faithful of every rank. By these gifts he makes them fit and ready to undertake various tasks and offices for the renewal and building up of the Church."

It isn't that hard. Lets look at this example:

Circular Squares.

Now, be amazed as i disprove the existence of something, circular squares. In order for something to be 'square', it must contain 4 sides. In order for something to be 'circular', it must contain no sides (the definition goes beyond that, but its irrelevent). Because something cannot have both no sides, and 4 sides, circular squares DO NOT EXIST.

In other words, you can prove something DOES NOT exist, by proving it CAN NOT exist. If it contradicts its own definition, it cannot exist, therefor does not exist, ok?

So, question: Can you disprove somethings existence?

If, oh, a certain unnamed Christian were to tell baldfaced lies about other people's religions again and again, wouldn't that be proof of a complete lack of repentance?

Isn't the god of Abraham like Santa, he knows when you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake?

Just curious. It seems to be some like to tell lies about other people's religions, then claim to be experts on their own...but isn't the fruit of a liar just lies?

People cosistently ignore the victimisation of innocent people, day in day out, year in year out, decade after decade, in the home, in the school in the office. they know they have a Christian have a duty to defend the innocent but that would cause problems for them so week after week they go to church and ask for forgiveness from God, but do nothing to amend their ways. Most of humanity is guilty of this type of behaviour. But if Christian, doesn't your failure to amend your ways go against you and show you as not having a true comitment to God. Real Christians often sacrifice themselfs for the better good such as happened to some in the holicaust of WW2.

What about Christian radicals? I see plenty of those everyday, one of them runs our country (the USA.) I'm not, by any stretch of the imagination, siding with Muslim extremists, but I think the world needs to recognize that Muslims don't encompass all of extremism, but rather a greater population of people are Christian extremists. Does anyone else recognize this?
