Which path of interconnection (with ALL) do you feel, would work out best in the end...?

I'm not sure I can answer that in a very useful way, because in my case this happened more or less automatically, I guess when the moment was 'right'.

Did I work towards a particular path to this, as in focus in on 'connectedness' as a goal to be achieved ?

No, I did make some very intentional decisions about my life, decisions to try to change certain things and ways of doing. Then, about seven years later it all started to 'happen'. I am going to write up the 'connectedness' story, which in my case was triggered by a statue, a picture of which is on my 360. I hope that this may be useful to some others.

But to be perfectly honest at the moment that the shattering experience of the total connectedness of Everything hit me, and I mean it did literally hit me like a runaway train ! When that happened I had had simply not a clue that it was about to happen, nor that such a thing could even happen.

So I cannot truthfully claim that I 'worked' on it, but the 'work' that I was doing was most definitely from the inside out. :-)))

Inside-out.
Unfortunately, there are few people who are willing to
thoroughly examine their inner core and begin the
work of becoming the best human being they can be.
If each person did this work - recognizing their own shortcomings and helping others with theirs - interconnection would be a much easier process.

Love is an inside job!
If Love is not seen on the inside then it cannot be perceived on the periphery.
If Love is witnessed on the inside, one is immersed in Love, and it will radiate outwardly and become interconnected to all of Gods creation.
