He meant for us to follow His example. Jesus was the only one that was righteous enough to cast a stone, but he did not. We should not hurt people. We are all sinners. We all need God.

God Bless.

No, he was telling the men that were trying to stone her to death. This lady was said to be a prostitute and so back in that time women were stoned for it. In the bible it says that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God so by Jesus saying this he meant that not one of them was without sin. that is why none of them cast a stone and they all left.
Jesus was the only man that ever lived without sin. That Jesus was ever with Magdalene will never be true

If so, He would have. He was making the point to the judgmental people around this woman who was about to be stoned that all are sinners. Jesus showed mercy and forgiveness, which is the main theme of the Gospel.

No, he was saying that none of her accusers were guiltless so they had no right in punishing her. The pharisees were trying to trap Christ. If he excused her sin then they would prove that he was unjust in not punishing her. But neither did He want to kill her. Also, she was an adulterer, yet where was the man she commited that sin with?

Good point-He's supposed to be God and God certainly didn't mind taking people out when he thought they had done wrong.
