This is a question that truely nobody can answer because no dead person has ever told a living person and living people can't look into death. This is one of the reasons that religion exists because we can't scientifically prove anything after death.

I'd really like to think so! I mean, it really be terrible to die and then *poof* you're gone forever. Wouldn't that just suck? Well, if you were just obliviated or whatever it is would happen and your sould didn't exist anymore, I guess you wouldn't really care. Still, don't you want there to be something better than oblivion? I know I do! Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but I'm not going to stop hoping!

The Bible tells us that there is not only life after death, but eternal life so glorious that “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, came to the earth to give us this gift of eternal life. “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).

Yes. People who experience NDE's experience real events after their EEG's have flatlined, making physical processing impossible. Nevertheless, they have been brought back after several minutes, sometimes with such proof as the serial numbers of the crash carts used to revive them.

Let's see a nonbeliever figure THAT one out!

Yes there is a life after death. There is Jinnah and Jahannam(Heaven and Hell). Jinnah is for the Muslims who believe in ALLAH(SWT) as well as the Christians and Jews before Prophet Muhammad(PBUH*) as long as they followed the Prophets before him. Jahannam is for the non Muslims who know that Muhammad(PBUH*) is the last Prophet of ALLAH(SWT) and choose not to follow Prophet Muhammad(PBUH*), as well as bad Muslims and terrorists and other bad people. In Islam we are taught that it will take you 70,000 years to hit the bottom of Hell and that ALLAH(SWT) will burn your skin off for all eternity as punishment and the water is poisonous and so hot that when you drink it your brain will evaporate. Bad Muslims just stay in Hell until their sins are paid for and then go to Jinnah.

Yes. Ask anyone who's had a near death experience. Or read a book on the subject.

Whether there is or not is irrelevant. However, there is eternal "aliveness" after ego death. Now that's worth thinking about.

No. When you're dead, you're dead.

Remember what it was like a hundred years ago? It's exactly like that.

This scares some people so much they make up stories about a magical fairy granting people eternal life.

We call these stories "religion".

You are asking a question that no living person can answer. Not even the stupid suicide bombers.
