Just a thought as I'm preparing a whole-wheat pizza with natural ranch cheese, mushrooms, red bell pepper, chopped palm hearts (you've probably never had that), and green olives; but I'm not certain I'd want it three meals a day for forty years.

P.S.: Manna measn "what is it?"

I'm 25 years old and work in a job that sees me handling all sorts of correspondence from members of the public and I am genuinely terrified at the dire standards of English displayed by all sorts of people including, worryingly, parents, teachers and professionals.

Now before you pick holes in the finer points of my grammar, I don't hold myself up as some sort of bastion of perfect English. But I can write and spell and generally construct proper sentences.

What genuinely worries me is when I receive a letter from a concerned parent (I deal with complaints about....adverts), and he or she just cannot write or spell or anything.

Why are standards falling so badly, and should I just get a life and stop being so snobbish about it?

The Mafia of Italy are devout practicing Catholics but are also responsible for most acts of organised crime. They accept Jesus as their saviour, attend church regularly and go to confession, do all the Christian things a Christian is supposed to do except not sin.

14:4. And We sent not a Messenger except with the language of his people, in order that he might make (the Message) clear for them. Then Allâh misleads whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

Does Allah mislead?

4:157 . That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

This verse says they were made to believe a lie.

Does Allah deliberately mislead people then punish them for not following?

Do you think we create our own heaven or hell, like in the movie "What Dreams May Come"? Or do you think we all go to the same place. Please explain.

Is breaking one rule okay if it helps you better abide by another rule? For instance, I broke the law of chastity and might be pregnant, so therefore I've been better adhering to the word of wisdom. No drinking, less smoking and less caffeine. Do you consider it a good thing if you do something that wouldn't neccisarrily be good, and therefore it's making you a better person? Please explain, feel free to use scriptural support :D

I just saw a question about a wife who thinks that meditation leads to demon possessaion. A few days ago a woman said that schizophreia is demon possesion. I saw a blog on 360 about the harm of Harry Potter.

Now I know that there are many wonderful intelligent christians, one of them is my best friend. She and I have had many good laughs over people like those.

Please explain to me how religion can make common sense walk out the door? Honestly, I just don't understand. Do these people who obviously possess a below average intelligence just happen to be Christians? They are not the norm, right? Please help me understand.

My vote would go for the following as I find them rather subtle
I know (1) fluently; (2) and (3) moderately

1. Urdu
2. Sanskrit
3. French

Though everyone finds their own language "sweetest", you need to choose a language other than your own.

seem to think that the only way to get their message across is to insult you and tell you what an idiot you are for not believing just like them?
as soon as someone starts telling me how stupid i am or how much more "vast" their intellect is than mine is i tend to either tune them out or go straight on the defensive.
i think most people are that way.
you are not going to get our minds to open up and be receptive towards you if you come at us that way.
so again i ask why are SOME of you like this? don't you know any better way?

of the universe and explain other phenomena in the world. They also involve heroes and gods and try to teach some sort of moral.

According to Georgia College & State University,
"Myths are symbolic tales of the distant past (often primordial times) that concern cosmogony and cosmology (the origin and nature of the universe), may be connected to belief systems or rituals, and may serve to direct social action and values."
