man...some people just dont respect the likes and dislikes of others...either you want points THAT badly, or you all just decide to be jerks...somebody liked Harry Potter and asked about it...then you see "get a life!" what the hell is that?!

This was already asked today - so I will give you the same answer.
This is a public place, some people are sincere in their answers, and questions, some are here just to get a good laugh or rise out of people.
You have to take it with a smile on your face, or leave Yahoo Answers completely. There is no respect Police here, you have to just go with the flow.
I understand what you mean, I don't like it either, but it does show me just how many rude, obnoxious people there are out here who are extremely unhappy. I am just glad it isn't me.

I agree, although I never got into Harry Potter, but whatever makes you happy. At least Harry Potter is more productive than doing drugs. That's always a big plus!

You want respect, yet you crudely used two completely unnecessary words (h*ll and da*n) which some will find offensive. Personally, I don't respect people who do that. Now, you're probably going to tell me to "get a life." Rude and crude, what's the difference?

I believe its the anonymity of the Internet without getting caught. People tend to show their true selves here, which they keep repressed from other people.

I really hate it when people ask questions about their looks (i.e. "Should I be a model?", "Am I hot?", etc.), and when they are given an honest answer that they don't like, they get defensive and rude about it.
I think if people don't want honest answers, they shouldn't post on here.
