Yes, ESPECIALLY Mormon polygamy as practiced by Joseph Smith.

Well, someone may believe that they are doing something in righteousness, but be incorrect. They may be doing something in unrighteousness believing they are acting righteously.
Also, perhaps an immoral act -- "murder" can be committed for a righteous reason (i.e. - murder John because otherwise Max will kill 10 other people). Is the act righteous? It's the lesser of two evils, but perhaps no course of action is righteous or moral in that instance.
So, my answer would be no, not all things done in righteousness are morally correct. Some are just the lesser of two or multiple evils.

The problem with righteousness is that when you feel righteous, you're not. Using righteousness as a moral guideline virtually guarantees immoral behavior. Righteousness is a major reason why religion causes good people to do bad things.

Religion is a poor predictor of morality. By whatever definitions that people have come up with for "righteousness", it is obvious that religious people neither have a monopoly on it nor follow it very well. And people have killed other people over differences in definition of righteousness, which really drives home the fact that it is a subjective judgement call and not really tied to any decent morality.

No. I was watching a video in Iraq. It was an execution of an American contractor (who lived there before the war started)
They were saying "God is good" while cutting off his head. The men helping had automatic weapons and could have just shot the American in the head and made it quick. This was not a moral act, they 'thought' they were doing a good thing. They are obviously wrong.

Righteousness is all about the ego and has nothing to do with being "morally correct".

Many people were murdered in Righteousness.
If you read Numbers 31 you will find that the Israelites murdered hundreds of thousands of young boys and mothers, and kept the virgins as plunder. That was done Righteously, and according to God's will.
I don't think it was Moral, but Christians and Jews will disagree somehow.

Remember it's only morally correct by the beholder, being righteous dose not make one morally correct.

Righteous definitely means morally correct.
A man's idea of righteousness is not always equivalent to God's righteouness.

morals are what people make them to be; my morals may be diffrent then yours... but anything done in righteousness must be morally correct as there cant be a righteous killing that goes against a commandment... etc.
