When he said to Kepha (others refer to him as Peter - the phallic as renamed by the catholic church and set up a sacred penis in the St. Penis ... sorry - St. Peter Square ...)

Put away your sword - for those that live by the sword shall die by the sword ...

But - in contrast ... we have every CHURCH in America sending our children to go out and die by the sword ....

Why does this not make sense to me?

Christians that condone murder and think that the messiah was stupid when he said to put the sword away - only need apply ....

TYLER, Texas - A jury on Saturday began deliberating whether a homemaker was insane when she used rocks to bludgeon two of her sons to death and severely injure a third after receiving what she claimed were orders from God.
He recounted Joshua's killing: "He got strike after strike after strike on his head to the point that his brains were coming out of his head like liquid."
Defense attorney began her argument by asking the jury why a DEEPLY RELIGIOUS woman would kill two of her children and maim another without so much as a tear.

Laney, who home-schooled her children in the tiny town of New Chapel Hill, 100 miles southeast of Dallas, was convinced she was divinely chosen by God to kill her children last Mother's Day weekend.

a story on the news the other day a group of teens raped a women in her home and made her little son join in. He was forced to help rape his own mother. Children starve daily and are molested, people are robbed, beaten, people die in such pain and suffering. I hear alot of everything happens for a reason, God gives you no more than you can handle. We have free will if free will causes this we would be better off without. I want to know how can people handle being raped or starved. If children are going 2 die young why let them be created. Life seems to be more of a curse than a gift to me. When a parent knows that their child is being harmed they do everything to remove that child from the situation and if they dont they are just as guilty. I feel we would be better off not existing. I cant help but feel angry. Do we believe because it makes us feel better.I would like to hear other views about God. IF YOUR GOING TO BE RUDE DO NOT REPLY!

about same sex marriage and the opinions towards it by some (notice, I didn't say all) Christian people. I am not trying to make a blanket generalization here, so please don't mistake my intentions. I hear it said over and over that marriage is between a man and woman, and if allowed for same sex couples it will destroy the sanctity of marriage. If this is your opinion, could you please explain to me how my marrying another female would in any way effect your marriage? Please, no quotes from the bible, I happen to be of the belief that many things in the bible are open to many different interpretations, and I myself think God is perfectly ok with my homosexuality. How can you say something will no longer be sacred due to allowing same sex marriages, yet nobody pushes to stop the things that do in fact destroy the sanctity of marriage such as divorce and adultery? I would think there would be more of an effort to outlaw these things, if the true intention was to preserve sanctity.

That I should believe in god and Jesus and that will get me into heaven while good deeds are not acceptable.

So based on my interpretation, I am able to get into heaven even if I kill, rape, steal while still having a belief in god and Jesus. Is that right? And all I have to do is ask for forgiveness at the same time?

Also any thought to the impact that I would have caused onto society by doing bad deeds while asking for god and Jesus to forgive me?

there's this guy in my dorm. he's a total a$$. he has messed w/ my computer several times, never ruined it though. He's shot me with his airsoft gun and constantly treats me like $hit. i have done nothing to deserve this. if i don't like you, you leave me alone and i'll leave you alone. i consider that to be a good policy. he constantly goes out of his way to set me off. i decided if he lives in the same dorm again and shoots me i'll call the police. and if he messes w/ my computer again i'll dump acid on his 2005 mustang. (I'm a chem minor, so I got connections.) don't bother telling me to ignore him and it'll go away. it doesn't. my parents told me that since grade school and i got tired of listening to them and finally beat the guy up. now we're friends. I can't beat him up cuz I could go to jail, however if he hits me first i can press charges for assault and he won't be allowed within 500 yards of me. what is the best way to deal with this a$$hole?
