Love is of God, and God is love.
God is life, as He is love and truth.
If you do not have God, you do not have love or truth.

I don't. God is love, but that's not all He is. And Love is not God.
So as pleasing as that might seem to some people, it's not true.
God is alive so love is alive, who knows if love is a living thing? I don't know about that one.
If you don't love God then your love is not true, maybe. But I am leaning 'no.' People love other things. It may be the same kind of love that others like me have for God, look at the Muslims. They have that look in their eyes when they are interviewed at the pilgrimage. Yet they have no idea who it is they worship.
So I am saying that the saying is full of holes, and it may breed confusion to believe them.

How does no love for God interfere with my timeless devotion and eternal love for my would-be husband? O_o Or for my future children? Or even my own mother?
I don't need God in order to love others, and a lack of a god-figure in my life doesn't make my love any less real or true. If you love God so much, then why don't you start loving others regardless of their faith? Wasn't that one of Jesus's teachings? To accept everyone, love everyone, forgive everyone? Isn't that in the Bible?

It is True JMS. Only true love lies in God. very beautiful. I notice people with out God are aggressive towards every one who holds belief out side there own, including proclaiming Christians. It is NOT Gods Love that acts like that.

B-A-L-O-N-E-Y , No one loves more, or is loved more than my wife and I. If it's not true love, then I'll settle for the perfect relationship that we've had for over fifty-three years. And that is completely without religious superstition.

i love my friends and the people close to me.
let people enjoy believing what makes them feel happy, if this is that they love god... so be it.
i don't personally agree with religion per se - but i won't tread all over their beliefs.

Actually, it is circular logic and not a very good way of making a point.
It is much like saying the sky is blue cause it is blue.
