When he said to Kepha (others refer to him as Peter - the phallic as renamed by the catholic church and set up a sacred penis in the St. Penis ... sorry - St. Peter Square ...)

Put away your sword - for those that live by the sword shall die by the sword ...

But - in contrast ... we have every CHURCH in America sending our children to go out and die by the sword ....

Why does this not make sense to me?

Christians that condone murder and think that the messiah was stupid when he said to put the sword away - only need apply ....

Forgive me .. when I say the churches are sending the children to murder and to die ... what I should have said - was ...

When have your churches told you NOT to go to war ... which ones have preached against killing and murdering under the guise of the flag or peer pressures ....

In law - if the IRS sends you saying you owe a million bucks and you do not answer ...

THEN YOU AGREE ....

If the churches DO NOT TELL THEIR CHILDREN TO NOT GO TO WAR ...

Then it is established by law that the churches AGREE TO THE MURDER, RAPE, KILLING AND/OR ETC. that our messiah said not to do...

Can you go by that and answer what I asked???

Peace;

Sorry - I have to state that the "sword" is a weapon of destruction ... if guns are not weapons of destruction ... I stand corrected - but; when did the Romans in the day of Messiah carry a M-16 or otherwise?

these are now the swords, even ancient scholors will tell you so ... if you will take the time to read - difficult for some to see new things through opinions - but;

My question remains unanswered - and close by a couple ... Speak the truth for once will yah???

Yes, because muslims are anti-christs and they should be wiped out wether through spiritual battlefield or physical battlefield... Yes, Islam is an evil religion created by satan, these are the words uttered from the mouth of evangelical pastors.. And Islam should be destroyed...

Yes, the christians in America are different than other christians that I have meet so far. They can broadcast in the media muslim preachinhg hate in war zone area like Palestine and Egypt, but they can't refelect on the ahte that their pastor is preaching. Actually i don't blame christianity or Islam on violence , I blame Christians for that.... I blame on the way christians interprate their religion nowadays... It is non-orthodox, non-devout, freestyle and they cna delcare anyone as an infidel and will burn in hell. They are no different than Al-Qaeda .

If you're referring to the armed forces, they die by the gun, not the sword. If you're one of those idiots that hasn't figured out that not all Christians are part of the KKK or the Nazis, then you need to read your Bible and find out what it means to be a Christian. In general, we're not warlike people in our personal lives, although many Christians support the war in Iraq. It is very possible that there are terrorist threats in Iraq. The opinions in the news are divided on that issue. There's no clear consensus that there aren't any threats there.

Also, that was one instance. There was another time when Jesus drove the elite out of the temple with a whip because they were breaking God's law by cheating the people. They used the money they made to pay off the Romans so they (the elite) could rule how they wished. It was bad. Jesus demonstrated in this way. They killed Him. However, He knocked every soldier on his butt and made sure His disciples could get away first, before He let them take Him to the cross.

The war in Iraq would be better handled by people that are merciful, like Christians. Muslims are not merciful. Most worldly people aren't that merciful either, compared to the Christians I know. This way, they don't just kill everybody. And your opening remark was vulgar, and you're not the least bit sorry because if you were, you would change it. It's typed, not spoken. You can change it if you want.

Do u actually think this is a christian country i'm sorry to tell u but this country is ran by the jewish people they are the one's calling the shots from behind the scenes. Look buddy u obviously are blinded by what u think is stupid start concentrating on whats not and maybe u will get some answers. i'm christian and my faith is stronger than my doubts, i wouldn't start judging what jesus said 2000 years ago that was a different time. He preached peace and love that's what he meant by that saying that think is so dumb. he loved people and he doesn't like to see them get hurt. don't blame jesus for what the government is doing that has nothing to do with him. Try not to be so ignorant, good luck on that thought process uve got going on your going to need some help with that. one more question Why did u want only the people who support ur idea to answer ur question?

1-You are right about the contradiction among some churches.
2-Not every Church is pro-war, in fact there is a large and active Christian anti-war community.
3-I don't understand all this stuff about Peter, I think the phallic euphemism came after the translation to that name (like Johnson or Dick).
4-He may be some people's messiah but he is not mine.

What churches in America, exactly, are sending children to go die by the sword?

If you don't like it in America you can always enjoy another freedom given: the freedom to leave. That is, if you live in America. I'm sure the troops would be most happy for you to not live in a country that they are fighting for.

Declaring yourself a Christian and then supporting War is definitely a direct contradiction according to the Bible.
It like trying to be in two different cities at one time. But people have had 1600+ years since the book was written to apply pretzel logic and twist it around to suit their needs.

I'll tell you why it doesn't make sense--because it isn't true. You're making all that up as you go along.

If you can even come close to considering God stupid, you don't know God.
