I thought Mongoloid was descendents from Mongolia or Asia. Why do people refer to people with Down Syndrome as a Mongoloid? Is it because they have Asian-looking eyes?

...how uninformed and downright ignorant you appear when you make statements that are not supported by facts. Was it really God's intention to stop performing miracles 2000 years ago. Has anyone been to heaven or hell to prove that either exists? These are slave making teachings and the whole world has been deceived. But then again..."the serpent would decieve the whole world." I got a reponse to a previous answer and I know many people who agree.

Aborted children are being 'condemned' too. What right does anyone have to say that a slaughtered infant is sinful enough to go to a flaming pit for eternity? I don't beleive in heaven or hell, but this is so offensive that people condemn innocent children who never even got the chance to live (or sin) in this world.

Could a Christian explain this to me? Why do most people say aborted/miscarried babies go to "hell"?

I'm not trying to make anyone mad, but why does it seem like, no matter what website I go on, people seem to bash Christianity more and more each day? Why are people so intent on making people NOT believe? I am not one of the narrow minded Christians who will only say "Because God said so." I like to look for answers as well, and find truth in the Bible. Read into it. Not take it literally. But why are people so cruel online about religion? Did something bad happen to them? To make them turn away from God? It seems no matter what forum I go to people continually bash my beliefs to the highest level, calling us dumb, uneducated, and saying we know nothing of the Bible. This isn't true of everyone. Why doesn't anyone stand up to it? And are the non-believers really just searching, hoping to find truth in the Bible so they can put it to rest? They will make others go looking for answers along with them, only rooting the person standing up for God deeper in his faith.

I had a heart murmur when I was 2, 2 strokes when I was 5, eye surgery when I was 5 (I was cross-eyed), & nose surgery twice when I was 10. I'm not suffering anything physical now, except obesity.

& I suffer a shitload of mental disabilities.

I must make a representation, and I found Al Jolson an interesting character, and I found the word coon, and Blackface style is more interesting, I want include coon word in muy representation, but I will have colored people, afro-american there, and I wanna not be offensive. that our purpose in life was to "glorify god".
If god is god, why does he need me to glorify him? And doesn't that make my life nothing more than a pawn to boost his inflated ego? Not a very worthwhile life, if you ask me. They also told me that when I die I will be so wrapped up in him that I won't care where my children are or what happens to them. There is NOTHING that will ever come between me and my children, not even god. Yeah, I will get to live with him forever, but I don't want to spend my whole eternity trying to make someone else happy.

I've been studying the tarot off and on for a few years now and i have a really difficult time intrepreting an entire spread. Individual card interpretations are easy, but how they relate to each other and the overall meaning of the spread is very difficult for me to determine. Also have you ever noticed that every tarot book seems to have a different order of cards with the celtic cross spread? This is the spread that i have the most difficulty with.

I use the Robin Wood deck, if that helps.

THIS KIND OF STUFF HAS GOT TO STOP IN OUR COUNTRY

Have you noticed that stairs are getting steeper . Groceries are heavier . And, everything is farther away. Yesterday I walked to the corner and I was dumbfounded to discover how long our street has become! This extension work was apparently done at night !! Very sneaky stuff.. And, you know, people are less considerate now, especially the youngsters. They speak in whispers all the time! If you ask them to speak up they just keep repeating themselves, endlessly mouthing the same silent message until they're red in the face! What do they think I am, a lip reader?

I also think they are much younger than I was at the same age.

On the other hand, people my own age are so much older than I am. I ran into an old friend the other day, and she has aged so much that she didn't even recognize me.

I got to thinking about the poor dear while I was combing my hair this morning, and in doing so, I glanced at my own reflection ........Well, REALLY NOW- even mirrors are not made the way they used to be!

Another thing, everyone drives so fast these days! You're risking life and limb if you happen to pull onto the freeway in front of them.. All I can say is, their brakes must wear out awfully fast, the way I see them screech and swerve in my rear view mirror.

Clothing manufacturers are less civilized these days. Why else would they suddenly start labeling a size 32 pair of pants a 42, or medium shirt as 'extra large? Do they think no one notices that these things no longer fit around the waist, hips, thighs, and neck?

The people who make bathroom scales are pulling the same prank, but in reverse. Do they think I actually "believe" the number I see on that dial? Heck ! I would never let myself weigh that much! Just who do these people think they're fooling? I'd like to call up someone in authority to report what's going on -- but the telephone company is in on the conspiracy too: they've printed the phone books in such small type that no one could ever find a number in there!

All I can do is pass along this warning: We are under attack! Unless something drastic happens, pretty soon everyone will have to suffer these awful indignities.

PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO WE CAN GET THIS CONSPIRACY STOPPED!

PS: I am sending this to you in a larger font size, because something has caused my computer's regular fonts to be smaller than they once were. (They must be sneaking to my house and messing around with my computer. Probably CIA....!!!) Pretty scary stuff huh?
