I have been looking at the tribes in Revelation. Some say these tribes are not to be taken literal..but i have been doing some research so tell me what you guys think...

- The word "tribes" in scripture is never used as anything but a literal ethnic group.

- Now, i realize the tribe of Dan and Ephraim are missing, but it is important to know that the OT has no fewer than 12 variant lists of tribes, and these lists include anywhere from 10-13 tribes, though the number 12 is predominant (Gen 49; deut 33, Ezek. 48) Thus, no list of the 12 tribes must be identical...

- Dan's tribe was probably omitted b/c they were guilty of idolatry on many occasions and as a result were largely obliterated (Lev 24:11, Judges18:1,30; 1kings 12:28,29)

- Ephraims tribe was also eliminated becuase of idolatry and paganized worship (Judges 17, Hosea 4:17)

Why do some Christians get involved with the occult by consulting psychics who claim to be "Christian"?

I've heard that such psychics as: John Edward, Char Margolis, and Sylvian Browne claim to be Christian, some even claiming that their gift comes from the Holy Spirit working through them.

Don't all Christians realize that even the demons aren't above using God's name, or even Scripture, to trap the unweary--even believers? In fact, in Acts 16: 16-18, we find the Apostle Paul exorcising a demon from a girl who was following him around proclaiming him to be a messenger of God. The demons were making her say these things, even if what she was saying was true.

Why, then, are some so clueless, and why do some use such spiritistic avenues, that are so expressedly forbidden in God's word??? Furthermore, why do some subscribe to "New Ageism" and other belief systems that are rooted in the occult and are completely incompatible with the Gospel according to Scripture?

The real one will descend from the heavens unto a place outside Damascus and he will join the Muslims who march unto Israel and defeat the False Messiah Army.

Jesus will slay the False Messiah at a place called LUD.

Muslims know what he will look like and what he will be wearing when the Angels bring him down.

Jesus was approached by John in the book of Mark, the same story is in Luke.

Mark 9:38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.

Mark 9:39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.

Mark 9:40 For he that is not against us is on our part.

Mark 9:41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

Same story in Luke:

Luke 9:50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid [him] not: for he that is not against us is for us.

Do you know nothing?
These are the words of God himself.
Tolerance and respect are the parents of Love.

Since Jesus teaches this any contradiction by later writers is a misinterpretation by the believer or reflects ulterior motive of the author. Paul had ple

The word “Messiah” is an English rendering of the Hebrew word “Mashiach”, whose translation is “Anointed”. It usually refers to a person initiated into G-d’s service by being anointed with oil. (Having oil poured on his head. Cf. Exodus 29:7, I Kings 1:39, II Kings 9:3).

There are many Messiahs in the Bible. Since every King and High Priest was anointed with oil, each may be referred to as “an anointed one” (a Mashiach or a Messiah). For example: “G-d forbid that I [David] should stretch out my hand against the L-rd’s Messiah [Saul]...” I Samuel 26:11. Cf. II Samuel 23:1, Isaiah 45:1, Psalms 20:6.

Jesus is called THE MESSIAH because he was to be the last and final Israelite Prophet who was sent as a last chance redemption for the Jews who had killed so many Prophets.

If they were to deny him (even after a miracle birth and show of miracle healings etc) then an eternal curse would be put upon them.

The Quran also calls Jesus the Messiah for the Jews.

Islam also says that those who denied Jesus was a true messenger and Prophet (Messiah) ----- will be sent a “False Messiah” near the last days as a final Punishment.

Those who join him will be on the side of EVIL and those who oppose him will be on the side of Good.

This False Messiah will rule from Jerusalem and will be the most EVIL leader to come in the history of mankind.

Below is a link to the Quranic verses where Jesus is called the Messiah :

For me the last time was for the mass on the day of my godfather/uncle's burial. Prior to that it had been 7 years since I've been in any church but the last church I was in was a Protestant church. The last time I was in a Catholic church prior to my godfather/uncle's burial was when I was 13 years old. Anyway I'm thinking of attending a mass this Sunday but I'm a bit nervous as I know that I will feel lost when it comes time to the prayers and whatnot. What advice can you give me if any at all? By the way I'm thinking of attending a Catholic mass. What do they do in mass? I know I must sound foolish. Do they hand out any bibles or whatnot for mass?

I know everyone does different things when they're depressed, for instance I cry a lot, then listen some music, and then I sleep for hours. By the time I wake up, I feel a little bit better. But lately my 'remedy' isn't working as good as before... So what do you do? Exercise? Eat? Drink? Sex?
I wanna find better ways to get rid of depression.

Blaspheming god, my body was possessed
The essence of their spirits are evil
Burning my flesh, inhaling no regrets
A diabolic sentence of destruction

Burning I bleed, unholy incision
Mark of the beast, behold the trifixion

Prepare the tool to observe my fate
Upon this mortal shell in
Satan's name I desecrate
Evil controlling the way I die
The mark is what distorts my soul beyond my sanity

In the name of Satan
I condemn this image of god
I am a key!.....

Blessed by the sign, symbolically I die
Intwist me in the lines of trifixion
Torment, semantic in design
Inflict this mortal shrine,
with pure hatred
Kill me, before my time is lived
It's all I have to give, to be thankful

Satan, entangled in my sores
Forever I am bound by your conviction

Tri~ Fixion

Prepare the tool to observe my fate
Upon this mortal shell in
Satan's name I desecrate
Evil controlling the way I die
The mark is what distorts my soul beyond my sanity
