I see time and time again on commercials asking for donations for other countries but I never see commercials asking for help for our own starving, poor people except around the holiday season? Why don’t we help our own country out first? Lets clean up the ghetto areas get the poor people in decent housing ect. Yes I know we have what is called welfare, food stamps ect. But lets help these people get educated then lets donate to these people and stop worrying about other countries. Am I wrong to feel this way?

My actually question is: do you ever wonder why so many people think what they are doing, where they are going is more important than you . I have had so many things happen that I ask myself where all the common courtesy went.

judging from what i read here, christians seem to be distancing themselves from the god of the old testament and i just wonder if that is not the result of the blistering, withering, scathing and unwaivering logic of the atheists in regard to religion, or simply christian sensibility that finds that god, well, unsavory let's say...

Every nursing home I had one of my relatives in and State hospital they were bad especially after visiting hours. Where do they find these people!!! They all look like they came out of the gutter!! Imagine if we had social medicine.......!!!!!!

I made a question called "Did you know that Islam means Freedom ? " , and MUslims answered no big mistake it means submission --- haha submission means peace, which means that true meaning of the word Islam id FREEDOM , WHICH CONFIRMS MY STATEMENT, THAT MANY (NOT ALL ) MIDDLE EAST MUSLIMS DONT KNOW THE MEANING OF THEIR FAITH , I'M ASHAMED TO CALL THEM MUSLIMS !

i am going on a trip to mexico and i need a little help with some verb conjugations. does anybody know how to answer questions using the usted affirmative command form of a verb and the appropriate object pronoun?

A lot ofn time when I see someone answer a question, if they so much as put in the word "jesus" they will get a ton of bad ratings for their answer. I have seen people with very logical answers and in the end say something about jesus and get about 7 bad ratings. I understand some people are athiest but it doesnt make scense because sometimes the question is mostly good. One person asked "what is the greatest thing you ever did" and some people said "let jesus into my life", THATS IT! nothing else, and they got about 5-6 bad ratings. Why?
