guess I am going to hell, then because he just body slammed the cat. and he has been warned several times.
do you think I am going to hell? or shall I just let him torture the poor cat?

I have often heard Christians say the Earth appears older than the 6 day creation story because 6 days in heaven is more than 6 days on earth.

What Bible verse do you use to support this claim?

Judas 'betrayed Christ' because God willed him to. This had to be and Judas should be honoured by us for his unselfishness in saving our souls from sin.

I believe that there is a God/Goddess, but not in a specific book like the Bible or Koran or whatever. I believe there's someone up there or wherever who makes it all happen, but we have to make choices for ourselves too. I believe in Karma, and premonitions and luck, as well as fortune-telling and spells and stuff like that. I just don't know what to call myself! Anyone know?

What is other 'correct word' or 'concise sentence' for those who use the unfamiliar intelectual words or bombastic vocabs to make the listeners clueless or simply to convince/impress others?

And is there any name/word for such person?

Thanks for your reply. (I hope you understand my question)

Today we performed a CAT scan on an elderly gentleman who had some type of abdominal complaint. We told him that in order to get a good study of his belly he'd have to pull his trouser down about mid thigh. He starts pulling his trousers down and that's when we noticed that he was wearing a diaper. That's when I started thinking about how life repeats itself.

1. We're born naked

2. We wear diapers until we're potty trained.

3. We're potty trained and are able to use the bigger potty without falling in the thing.

4. We grow old and incontinent and find ourselves wearing diapers once again. But this time the diapers are much bigger. ( ^ _ ^ )

5. We eventually die and leave this world the same way we came in. To paraphrase a passage in the Bible "We brought nothing into this world and it's most certain that we'll take nothing with us once we die."

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy."
1 Peter 2:9

I mean, we're the ones doing the right things in the eyes of God, right?

I have asked questions about remembering the good old days when people waited for marriage to have sex. Half the answers were from those who are waiting, the other half were from angry people that thought it was an outdated idea.

I gots to thinking, maybe people that have slept with alot of people, are jealous of those of us who are waiting, or people that waited until marriage. I mean, we have a better chance of starting a life with someone without the baggage that (like it or not) having alot of ex-lovers or children born out of wedlock bring into a marriage. We have the chance of sharing a closeness they can't have.
Am i right?

First you make an entry...a period or a dash, number or something....then you come back later and affirm and say something good/nice/kind about the person who answered before you. If you don't know them, go check out their profile and see if that gives you something to say. Are you willing to do this as a random act of kindness.

An ancient Chinese myth tells us that everything started in chaos. The universe was like a black egg. The god Pan Gu, breaks the egg and the heavens begin to expand. The fleas and lice on Pan Gu's body evolve into humankind.

Why not teach this? It's not that far from scientific data?

Christ renounced materialism and went and lived among the poor how many of you give up your possessions and live among the poor?
If Jesus were here today he would cry when he looked at all the suffering in the world, and yet the Pope sits with golden scepter and controls probably enough money to end world hunger.

I just recently accepted God into my life, I am 22 years old. I realize that by accepting him I now find myself questioning things that in the past I had not. However I also feel more open about some of the things that in the past where and are problems for me, and I find that many of the things I am debating in my mind are ethical and moral problems now. I find myself making a decision but then before acting on it wondering would God approve and I have not really made a decision on anything instead I keep going back to would God approve. I am not sure what to do, and if this will ease with time? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks
