"My neighbour has blasphemed God. Should I gather all the congregation to certainly stone him?"

I will be laughing about that for about a week at least. Why are some people here so funny? I guess it's a cross section of the world, so you get some crazy funny people.

Why is it that when haters on here state that all muslim women are oppressed and denied education, and we prove we don't feel that way, that they insist it is so? If we don't feel that we are while having college degrees in various fields of study, why do you want to push and force us into believing we are? We don't feel that way, so what's it to you? Why do you have such a problem knowing that we don't feel that way? I don't deny that in some places some do, but most of us do not feel this way.

What do you think of this?

"Sometimes, people see covered Muslim women and they think of this as oppression. This is wrong. A Muslim woman is not oppressed, in fact, she is liberated. This is because she is no longer valued for something material, such as her good looks or the shape of her body. She compels others to judge her for her intelligence, kindness, honesty and personality. Therefore, people judge her for who she actually is."

Religion has been blamed to be the cause of wars, violence. For those who take this position, have you considered the GOOD that people with a religion has done?

eg Mother Theresa, a Christian - if not for her, so many thousands would not have been comforted in their dying/living days. Mahatma Gandhi, a Hindu - if not for his NON VIOLENCE approach, so many millions could have died in the liberation of India from the British.

I will bet my bottom dollar that without religion, more wars, more violence, would have occurred throughout the ages, and more people would have died, more violently.

Thank God for religion.

Do you agree?

I don't want kids, I'm better putting a saddle on a horse than I am changing diapers. Mothering just isn't for me. Why do people seem to think that every woman should want kids, and if she doesn't something must be wrong with her?

Aren't there plenty of kids that need adopting too, first?

We are all heading in the same direction. Why does it matter what path we take to get there? Also, why does one think that because one's religion is different than another they are somehow the right religion and the other is against you and your beliefs? Can't we all just get along. In multi-religious harmony?

Blessed Be

WOW, amazing how guilt can change the course of an entire religion.........

Martin Luther was a Great Protestant leader who was filled with the Holy Spirit and look what he used to teach in the early days :

Did I not tell you earlier that a Jew is such a noble, precious jewel that God and all the angels dance when he farts?---Martin Luther

“What then shall we Christians do with this damned, rejected race of Jews?
First, their synagogues should be set on fire, and whatever does not burn up should be covered or spread over with dirt so that no one may ever be able to see a cinder or stone of it. And this ought to be done for the honour of God and of Christianity, in order that God may see that we are true Christians.
Secondly, their homes should be likewise broken down and destroyed.
Thirdly, they should be deprived of their prayerbooks and talmuds in which such idolatry, lies, cursing and blasphemy are taught.
Fourthly, their rabbis must be forbidden under threats of death to teach anymore.” – Martin Luther

“If I find a Jew to baptize, I shall lead him to the Elbe bridge, hang a stone around his neck, and push him into the water, baptizing him with the name of Avraham!.. I cannot convert the Jews. Our lord Christ did not succeed in doing so; but I can close their mouths so that there will be nothing for them to do but to lie upon the ground.” – Martin Luther

“I hope I shall never be so stupid as to be circumcised; I would rather cut off the left breast of my Catherine and of all women.” --- Martin Luther

“If we are to remain unsullied by the blasphemy of the Jews and not wish to take part in it, we must be separated from them and they must be driven out of the country.” – Martin Luther

Jesus did not call them Abraham's children, but a "brood of vipers" [Matt. 3:7]. Oh, that was too insulting for the noble blood and race of Israel, and they declared, "He has a demon' [Matt 11:18]. Our Lord also calls them a "brood of vipers"; furthermore in John 8 [:39,44] he states: "If you were Abraham's children ye would do what Abraham did.... You are of your father the devil. It was intolerable to them to hear that they were not Abraham's but the devil's children, nor can they bear to hear this today.------Martin Luther

Learn from this, dear Christian, what you are doing if you permit the blind Jews to mislead you. Then the saying will truly apply, "When a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into the pit" [cf. Luke 6:39]. You cannot learn anything from them except how to misunderstand the divine commandments...------Martin Luther

St. John Chrysostom: “I know that many people hold a high regard for the Jews and consider their way of life worthy of respect at the present time... This is why I am hurrying to pull up this fatal notion by the roots ... A place where a whore stands on display is a whorehouse. What is more, the synagogue is not only a whorehouse and a theater; it is also a den of thieves and a haunt of wild animals ... not the cave of a wild animal merely, but of an unclean wild animal ... When animals are unfit for work, they are marked for slaughter, and this is the very thing which the Jews have experienced. By making themselves unfit for work, they have become ready for slaughter. This is why Christ said: “as for my enemies, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them and slay them before me’ (Luke 19.27).”

It frustrates me when Christians rattle off promises to pray for others and then never do. If we don't pray, and don't truly believe in the power of prayer, hence don't pray for others, we need to go to God with that in all honesty. We can't just ignore it and pretend we're just these "Good Christians" who would simply LOVE to pray for you, and then never do.

Christians, let's admit where we're at with God and ask Him why we don't really want to pray for others! (Not speaking for those of you people who really love to pray for people, to you, God Bless you! ;)

The bible clearly states that these people who practice pharisaic rites are not Jews.

"But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God" (KJV)

Seriously, it gets on my nerves. Not all of us Christians are "judgemental, close minded people". I'm not. I want to hear what other people believe and think. I'm NOT here to tell you "you're going to hell" or "you're wrong". All I want to do is share what I believe as well. It's nothing against everyone else but I'm starting to wonder if they are the ones that are "close-minded" because it seems anyone who even alludes to Christianity or creation gets a million thumbs down. It's not right. Share your thoughts....

And please don't be rude...I'm just trying to learn here.
