of course not! It is the consequence of a sperm reaching an egg, and the egg can't tell that the father of the sperm was a rapist, nor does either egg or sperm know about any genetic deformity that they may be carrying.

Life isn't created upon conception, because both the sperm and the egg were already alive. It amazes me how people fail to see this. God doesn't suddenly blow life into either.

God doesn't make mistakes. This is a favorite question of those murdering pagans who profit from the lives of the innocents, known as abortionists.

I will give you the Standard Answer:

If you knew of a poor family who had 6 children, and every one of them had a severe birth defect, and they were already so poor that sufficient food was a real concern, and giving birth might very well cost the life of the mother, and there is a very strong possiblity that this child will be deformed, would you be in favor of abortion?

If you answer yes, congratulations, you have just deprived the world of the genius of Ludwig van Beethoven.

Yes, life cannot happen without God. You have to understand, the business of God is redemption. So He gives life in the midst of death. So He can create a child in the midst of a death-like situation, such as rape and deformity, to show the world a witness of His Glory. For example, the illegitimate child unifies a broken family and brings up old family issues to the light, causing true unity in the midst of the pain of the rape. Or the child is a great world leader. Or the person with severe deformities is like a child before God, revealing the vulnerable and meek nature of Christ. There is so much mystery to life, but it all has to do with Christ's power to conquer death, no matter how sadistic it may seem on the surface, in our limited minds. Every pregnancy is a miracle from God, no matter the circumstance.

I'm with you.. Ive seen first hand what happens to children with severe deformities... I saw them banging their heads in the floor or walls.. They don't have a clue what is reality. It was so sad to see these children so unhappy..I cried for them..They have no life! And a rape?? Do they really want to be reminded for the rest of their lives the face of their rapist???

My dear from who's perspective do you pose your question? the person raped, the child conceived or Gods'? Or is it yourself seeking some plausible justice? We all find our being in God who embraces us all as perpetrators or victims or just bystanders. One only hopes that in his great love and mercy - and by his power - in due course all is set right. I got a feeling that we are all levelled in our sure death, then as we continue on we all get sorted out; for how ever long it takes. When in your moment of greatest impasse ask only one question ; How does God's love work ?

Peace

God doesn't create babies.

Has mom and dad told you about the Birds and the Bees yet? If not talk to them about it.

As far as God letting this happen... yes God doesn't Micromanage his creation.

rape isn't God's will, its a man's will. having the child isn't God's will but the woman's will. God's will is to give us choices, we make the decision and suffer the consequences THEN we blame God by saying its God's will.

God creates all life. God allows bad things to happen because life on Earth isn't meant to be perfect.
