I am a cool person, but you can tell I am a over 50 because I say cool :) Cowabunga dude, bitchin, far out, OK now I have the attention of my age group, I am lonely a recently retired elem teacher and would love love love to find sites to chat with others seniors. how about some good ideas. I have plenty of extra time to email and don't want to bother my busy family and younger ones with my free time and repeated stories :)

people anthropormorphise everything.

they give ships, cars, animals, toys names.

they give them human characteristics and talk to them as if they understand what is being said.

this is the same principle being given to the part of the mind that can experience a hightened state of awareness, delusion, dream state, meditation etc.

when something cannot be explained by natutral means, especially in the past, superstition filled in the gaps of our knowledge.

these ideas were soon followed by the exaggerated belief in one god. since god is an overstated myth and the only attributes he posseses are super-human and not supernatural, he has therefore been created by mans imagination and refferd to using human cahracteristics, such as, loving, jealous, vain, comforter, counselor, angry, etc.

this is then extended to superhuman traits including, all-powerful, all-knowing, all-seeing, eternal, etc etc.

I am so sick to death on here of Christians being lumped together as idiots. There are many verses in the Bible that tell what will happen to those who rise up against God and his followers,maybe these attackers need to hear a few and please come back and vote down the idiots who reply as we ask them not to answer as we are not asking for their opinion.

What does your relgion say about taking medication, especially for problems such as depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and PMDD? What do you think of people who take medications such as Zoloft or Prozac? Please know that this is not meant as a harmful or insulting question. Could it be that this creature is more representative of creatures such as dinosaurs?
Could this indicate that this creature did in fact exist when the Chinese calendar was created?
Could the rituals that are associated with 'dragons' be more representative of survival teachings for those who lived around these creatures?
Obviously to answer yes to the 2nd and 3rd question you need to at least consider question 1. Have a think about it and at least consider the possibility. Let me know what you think and why.

Are you calling Catholics, not just the Priests child molesters as well?

How dare you call Catholic people child molesters, we are not just because 1% of the Priests have molested children don't blame the Parishners for the same thing
