What would you do without friends?

Last night I was having a rough time with the Chemo I am having and I felt lonely and upset and I asked my friend to say hello to me or a hug, see link below and I received 115 replies
I know now I don't have to be lonely because I have some many wonderful friends, THANK YOU,

Hello sweetie I did pray for you and I am glad youa re feeling better the world would be a lonely place without friends the Bible says in Proverbs 17:17 that a friend loves at all times.
My pastor years ago said you can't buy friends with money.
I am blessed to have family and friends and yes everyone needs to be love and encouraged and the world would be a sad place without friend. Jesus calls us friends in the Bible. Here are som hugsooooooooooooofor you Peace be with you E4G

You really make me consider my stance.
As the eldest in my family I have always tried to be independent as a person.
After high school I had realised truly that friends come and go. And perhaps even more so in uni.

But in loosing or renouncing friendships..I've become close to my youngest sister who I could see as a friend substitute.

I have become aware though, that family isnt the only thing to our lives. Good friends really provide a moral support that may be so different from your family. They give you new optimism about the world we live in. Depending on how much you open up..

God tells us that He is all we need to truly live, but at the same time, He tells us the importance of giving love and receiving love. He tells the importantce of family, tho none are every to go above Him. And, He sure does tell us about staying in fellowship with each other. This is one reason God wants us to stay in church. WE all need each other to give love , acceptance and honor and respect, so that life on this earth is much easier and more fun too. I have had much sorrow in my life, and I know I would never have got thru it without God. and I also know that thats when I found out who my true friends are, the ones that were always there for me, no matter what I had to go thru. I had two abusive marriages and much other stuff to come my way during those years and I lost a child. Some I thought were my best freinds didnt want to bother me and I became history real quick. Many were thre for me, even some I didnt realize were that close of a friend. I tell you what, their holding me in prayer and holding onto me and not letting go got me thru it all. Between them and with God the head of it all, I was able to get thru it, and I now KNOW I can get thru anything. If we are to call ourselves FRIENDS to someone, then we must set ourSELF aside and truly be there for them, as we would want them to be there for us.
Yes, the world would be a very very sad place without the love of friends. I pray that you never feel alone again, as God is always with you, and you surely have more friends that you know. Never be afraid to ask them for help and just say I NEED YOU TODAY. SOmetimes, ppl are in the know and will come without asking. BUt I also found that some THINK you may prefer to be alone and dont want to bother you. It is absolutely up to us to tell ppl what we need. IF we dont tell them, how will they know?????????????????

Yes I'm feel lonely and sad if having without my friends and in my experience during my elementary days first my classmates was friendly to me and we will always to play hide and seek and afterwards they not become to friendly with me because they always teased me as rich,spoil brat,immature and crying baby and after that I'm always cry in front of my classmates and they laughing me.And I decided to transfer the other school and that's the reason to leave my previous school.Right now sometimes we communicated to each other like an e-mail,texting the message or even we will go to mall because we will no time to spend to each other and some of them were working in the office or even they go in the out of the countries.

Without friends I'd do the same things I do now, except that it would be for fewer people. And, yes, the world is a sad place; with or without friends, governments and so on.

I personally don't believe in friendship: it is away too informal. I prefer gentlemen agreements and contracts: these are much more lucrative; it's a practical world we live in!

Will I do think the world is a sad place with or without friends. Friends just mask this sadness and sure we need them. Unfortunately , I don't have any best friends maybe because I find it sometimes hard to relate to them.

Isn't it wonderful that when a person is in need of some caring that so many people here are kind enuf to offer it to a stranger. We have all experienced something in our life where we needed a hug or a kind word and it feels even better to be giving that to someone else.

The world would be a sad place w/o friends. My parents and my brother are gone. I only have a siser left and we are sisters but not real close. I don't know what I would do w/o others who care about me.

Friends are more trouble than they are worth. (shocker i have 0 friends). I have moved no less than 8 times in the past 10 years. I could have never have done that with anyone holding me back.
