People should pray in this manner:

6. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Matthew 6:6 - 8

As you can read in verse 7, when you pray , use not vain repetition like rosary.

Philippians 4:6-7) “Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” RSV

Obviously each individual has their own story and explanation for why they post on that site, but I would guess that at least some of them post there because they are not committed Christians who are well connected with a church congregation.

Unless you are someone who has a medical condition that keeps you at home or something like that, a Christian should be able to ask people from their church to pray with and for them if they are seeking agreement in prayer.

Of course we live in the microwave/cell phone generation where it could be that some people are conditioned to hop on their computers whenever they want something. But to me it's like watching a televangelist or something. It seems superficial and similar in some respects to calling Miss Cleo the psychic or something like that.
