Ah, that's nice, that's really rather sweet. Thank you. But I must say that, No, I haven't 'thanked (my) creator today', nor shall I. But I am feeling good--a cup of coffee at my computer (I'm working on a new play), a muffin of some kind, and a 'banana creme' yogurt. Breakfast. In a few hours, a shower, all black, the male attire in my profession, and a cab to take me from my digs in Lower Fifth to a meeting on West 67th. An agreeable one I hope. All the while I'll be breathing...my lungs are in good shape...and 'thinking' and otherwise doing what we of our species do best, creating. Everyone does it, or has the capacity, and some of us realize that breathing, creating, living are thanks to our genes, our environment, our diet, and the uses to which we put our brains over the years. For me, dear heart, EVERYTHING is possible sans a diety. And a blessed morning to you too! Truly.

At the time of my writing this- it's not a new day yet in the Southern Hemisphere in New Zealand. So unless you consider that we are living a day ahead of much of the rest of the world, in which case, Christians here are the very first on the planet to praise the Lord when a new day does dawn... and we're glad to have the privilege.
