Are you calling Catholics, not just the Priests child molesters as well?

How dare you call Catholic people child molesters, we are not just because 1% of the Priests have molested children don't blame the Parishners for the same thing

There are child molesters in all walks of life...I cannot understand why some people judge us Catholics based on a few people, we are not all the same.

I didnt see the first response to Tweeter, but I will add this. Tho I am not catholic, I am full gospel Pentacostal.
In every church today, there are ppl that lie, cheat , steal, molest, rape, all of it, just as it is outside the church EVERYWHERE. We live in a world that has turned to so many worldly things, instead of staying just with Jesus Christ. We are to live like Jesus, live for Him, speak like Him, and to love and honor Him. He obeyed the Heavenly Father unto perfection, and we are to love Him the same way. BUt the nation as are most nations have turned their back on God and done thing the way the devil continually led them to do. If it feels good, do it. If I want to do it, I will, and that has led to a world of extreme violence and hedonism. Now, if these ppl come to church, what a great place for them to be, as maybe there they can find Jesus and find healing and deliverance. AMEN. BUt, we cant call any church EVIL just because many there do bad things. Those doing the bad things are not doing as Jesus did and said for us to do. Dont blame God and dont blame the church. When children grow up today in homes of extreme violence, divorce, and exposed to such awful things so early, it is warping their minds, and only Jesus can break the curse they are in. So many kids today are being molested, and many grow up to be molested. Many are exposed to violence and end up as very very angry adults. Hurting ppl hurt other ppl, as they have not got over what was done to them. Now we know not all go on to offend, but most will, unless they find Jesus Christ and get healed from all they went thru. This is generational curse, and yes it still exists today, but it doesnt have to be in our lives, as Jesus gave us the power to overcome such curse. But we must ask.
We must not hate these ppl, as they were once innocent victims themselves, but we must try to stop them, get them help and lead them to the only source of healing and victory, Jesus Christ. BUt, we cant label the church evil just because it is evil ppl inside. God calls us there to overcome our evils and to live like Jesus Christ. so if a church has a lot of liars in it, is it an evil church. ? What makes a church evil is when it teaches not the teachings Of Jesus Christ. God says that is an abomination to Him.
so lets pray for the victims and for those that are also the perpetrators, that all will come to know the Lord. Also much of this has come from children raised in false religion where being being in the name of God is ok. No, its not ok, never was ok with God, and never will be. False religion in false religions.
There is only one pure undeviled religion, that is when we have the love of Jesus and follow the teachings laid out so perfectly for us in the Holy BIble.
WHo is to cast the first stone, to judge and condemn? We are to judge the sin, but not the sinner. Hate the sin and love the sinner, and to try and lead these ppl to help.
My question is this. IF one of our own little kids was to be molested or raped, and then many years later grew up to be the one that was doing it to others, would we want everyone to hate them,lock them up, allow them to be beated and raped even more in prison? Or would we want ppl to know and love them and try to help them? What would Jesus do is always my question? Yes, ppl tht do this tdo have to be stoppped and yes they must pay for what they did. God is always about taking responsability for oneself. BUt, they should go to prisons for help and not just punishement, . Most come out even meaner than when they went in. Abused as a child, and now continued abuse in prison. Is this what God wold want? I dont think so.
LEts stop the labels ppl, stop the judging and condeming, and leave that part to God. All of these ppl need Jesus, the truly Jesus, as their Lord and Saviour of their life, to know of His blessed Hope. Do we reach out when we see others needing help? Do we call the police if we suspect abuse going on next door? OR do we remain silent? IF so, you are part of the problem, and not part of the solution. YOu hear so many that are raised in such horror saying they did tell neighbors and teachers, and even other family. All were too afraid to get involved.
I vote we be part of the solution and not part of the problem. God does not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of hope. Lets live in the spiritual realm of the heavenlies, and do things as Jesus did them all.
Leave juding alone and condemnation. thats not our job. Should ppl like that be allowed to continue ? NO. OF course not But, lets get them help. They can be helped if they find Jesus, it is the only way. Dont limit the power of God to change anyone. With GOd, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
DOnt hate the priests or anyone else. Hate what they do and pray for them. and be glad that evil ppl do go to church, they may just find Jesus there. Church is not for the already perfect, and no there is none yet Church if for us all. Jesus hung aroun dppl of all kinds of sin and loved them, but He said to go and sin no more, remember. Lets lead them to Jesus as best we can. Live the truth. Speak the truths of God, without fear and without compromise. Go boldly before the throne of God, not tiptoeing. RUn to God today as fast as you can, and give your life to Him and daily surrender your will to His and then we will all know just what to do about everything.
