Apocalypse in Greek means disclosure. It is a term applied to the disclosure of something to certain, privileged persons that is hidden from the masses. John’s original title is modernly referred to as the Apocalypse of John. The apocalypse is already here. (The disclosure of everything John meant in the book of Revelation in the Bible.)

I have my own understanding of revelation. When was the Catholic church ever in the biblical wilderness? Its always been highly visible and at the forefront of the action.
