It doesn't matter if one who is of a certain religion believes it or not. The facts still remains and the Bible speaks alot more about hell than it does heaven. Hell is not a dark grave but it is described clearly as a fiery sulfuric place where gnashing of teeth and screams are heard from the tormented souls.
We are called to follow God or Satan. We have no other choice in this matter. With God you are guaranteed a place in heaven with Him without suffering for that is where He reigns.
In hell where Satan reigns you are then totally cut off from God leaving you in eternal torment.
God doesn't send anyone that doesn't want to go to hell cut off from Him. It is our choice to or not to accept Him. He has stated clearly what will happen and it should not come to a surprise for those who hate Him or do not have any faith in Him denying His deity.
The spirit can not be destroyed or cease to exist. It is either heaven or hell.
Regardless to all those who will thumb this down or make light of it..hell is very real just as heaven is very real.
Christians who have committed their lives over to God and accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and allows Him to be Lord of their lives will see heaven. Their sins forgiven and therefore because of the blood of Jesus that covers their sins God does not see those sins. They are allowed to enter into heaven.

1) No hell cant be forever for Revalations 20:13,14 says that the dead, & hell KJV gave up those dead in them so there fore its not forever...... but even it will be hurled into the lake of Fire which means the second death.... where the false prophet already will be. hell cant be burning because that wouldnt make since to hurl fire into another fire would it? didnt think so. Jonah prayed to be delivered out of the belly of the big fish that swallowed him because he thought that was the place he was gonna die at he called it hell in some translations (Jonah 2:2)Hell , sheol (old testament word, hebrew), hades (New testament word greek)where people can & will come out from according to the Revalation, scripture. And where did all this talk about burning come from has any one ever went and came back to tell it No... When In Revalation or any other scripture talks about burning forever its a sybolism of total destruction example if a house is flooded maybe in time it can be remodeled & possibly restored if its burnt to the ground much less forever it can never be repaired, meaning no coming back, no resurrection, if a person goes to what people call a burning hell that would discredit the resurrection hope(Acts 24:15) so Hell nothing to worry about you wont feel a thing (Ecclesiates 9:5)Lake of Fire worry about because their is NO resurrection once youre there........

Hello Josh,
Yes, if a person is not a Christian ...and I mean a true Christian, not just one who professes and then lives like the devil the rest of the week - will indeed, go to hell.
Don't take my word for it, but the bible clearly states:
Matthew 10:28
"28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
Some say that there's no fire in hell - well, that's not true because the bible plainly tells us:
Mark 9:44, Jesus says 3 times this verse:
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
their worm is referred to as a person's soul
The FIRE is NEVER quenched, never, Jesus said and he repeated this three times.
And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
The lord also said in the 17 works of the flesh listed in Galatians that they which do such things would not enter into the kingdom of heaven: Galatians 5:17-19
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
In the book of Revelation the Lord plainly tells us what is to be:
Revelation 21:8
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
Jesus also said this: Mark 16:15,16
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
These are just a few to let people know, that there is a literally burning hell. A person must be born again, repenting to God for their sins, turn from their sin, live a holy life to get into God's heaven.
Once a person is in hell, he or she can never get out. God will never remember them again. God has the power to forget and he will wipe the people in hell out of his mind forever. Jesus didn't die on the cross so people could just do whatever they want - this is the big deception - people can't just live any old way and get into God's heaven. Jesus told the woman caught in the act of adultery after he forgave her when the others were going to stone her under the law, he said, "go and sin no more."
The Lord said, "The soul that sinneth, it shall die." The soul can never die, it will either live in eternity in a literal burning hell or in heaven with Jesus. Where would you rather spend eternity?

Simple answer, no.
Complex answer, depends on what kind of a life you had. If you had a good life, treated ALL others with dignity and respect, did your best to be good, and generally 'followed the way of Christ' then no, you will not go to Hell, no-matter what your beliefs were. I believe this because God is merciful, and wants all to be with Him in Heaven.
Only He knows if a person has lead such a life. If a person is wicked (and only God truely knows) or is not truely sorry for the bad things they may have done (again only God really knows) then they will go to Hell, regardless of their beliefs.
I know this idea throws a big spanner in the works for a lot of people, and people will disagree, but it is what I believe.

In a cock an bull tale, there's no longer something like user-friendly or unfair yet appropriate or redundant. There no information of what God suggested or did no longer,so why the debate? If there are anythings like Hell or Heaven, those could be here,in this earth. We get what we supply is the regulation of nature and being a manufactured from nature we could be laid low with it particularly is regulations. How so ever clever a guy may be,he can not improve wheat out of the seeds of corn.

No. you must let God do the judging. I would agree that one must be christian and go to the Father through Christ, but I am not the judge. Hell is separation from God, I don't believe the soul burns, but that may be an analogy. then again, it sounds like a fit punishment for some.

Actually, according to the Jews I've been learning from, there is no such thing. Well, at least not from THEIR version of their God.
The xian version of the Jewish God is different though. It has three personalities, two of which don't agree on anything and the last one just remains silent as the other two hash things out. I think the second personality is the one that keeps trying to send people to hell. Some how, it considers that 'saving' us.

The traditional Christian belief system wouldn't even agree with that statement. Up until about 200 years ago, many Christians were also thought to be sent to Hell just because they were not selected by God for salvation. People had no control about whether they were selected or not, and there are many, many books and writings about the subject. Even Martin Luther was unsure if he was going to Heaven or Hell.
Anyway, other religions have their own afterlife beliefs that have nothing to do with Heaven or Hell. Many religions believe that the soul continues on, but they often don't have places of damnation saved for non-believers. Pagans and Wiccans, for example, believe that everyone ends up in the same place. Buddhists believe that people must be reincarnated until they reach Enlightenment. Hindus also have reincarnation.

No! I am a pentecostal, evangelical Christian and I do *not* agree! If you are not a Christian, you shall spend eternity out of the presence of God and of all your friends and loved ones. God cannot look upon sin and only those who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior have their sins washed away by the Blood of the Lamb, Jesus, and have had their sinful nature covered with a robe which is whiter than snow!
My fellow Christians: Please, please read you Bibles! 2 Timothy 2:15(KJV) states, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Please read what the Bible *really* has to say about Hell! Please?

I disagree. As long as you believe in "something" or "someone" who represents love and goodness, how could your soul be condemned to Hell? There are far too many cultures and religions throughout the world that do not have "Christians" among their societies. If you treat your fellow man with fairness, respect and kindness, you have a good soul. I'm a Christian with the thoughts that God made us different with appearance, languages and cultural beliefs for a reason.
