Oh yeah! In fact it isn't enough for me to read it, I feel the need to study. My "tried and true" is a Life Applications Bible in the KJV, but I also bring out a Catholic Study Bible,a modern English version,
and a handful of study guides and concordances
It seems to help me to more throughly understand the scriptures when I have an idea of the audience and the culture of the day for when it was recorded.

I'm not a very good peson, but I try and no matter what I try to read atleast a sentence of the word of God, most of it from the New Testament either in the morning or when I go to sleep. If I stop I start feeling stupid, so I guess is something I must do to feel open to the world and the real wisdom.

I love reading the Bible. It's a great book on life's instructions. I also feel His Heavenly presence when I'm reading His word. Bless you.

Yes. I really need to read it more. You're not the only one. Keep on reading and learning. The words in that one book are the key to a REAL life. Never doubt them. They are God's love letter to us.

Yes I do, and it really is the greatest story ever told, there is no other book ever written that gets the attention the bible gets and has gotten Amen.
