Since you have a tendency to worship Joseph Smith more than you do Jesus?

No, I didn't think so.

So why then, do they think that atheists would cry out for god/gods, when facing hardships or possible death?

Do you not understand that the same non-belief that you have in the Muslim god Allah, is the same non-belief that atheists have for all god/gods?

Apologists sounds so wussy. And it's like they are saying sorry for the entire Mormonism thing (which is what they should be doing). I know that the definition of Apologist is "defender of something blah blah".. but the first thing you think of when you hear apologist is "I'm sorry".

Would you let them into your house to share their theology with you? How would you react to any scriptural proof texts they give? Would you be more receptive to them than Jehovah's Witnesses?

It was a time when you could leave your doors unlocked without fear of getting robbed, a time when familys ate home cooked meals together around the dinner table, and everyone went to church on sunday.

In ancient times, mankind knew hardly anything about the universe. It was literally the age of ignorance but of course, it was completely involuntary. This is when religion had ultimate power over humanity and true atheism was almost unheard of. Fast forward a few thousand years, with a decrease in ignorance we see an increase in atheism. Are atheism and knowledge on one side of the sea-saw, religion and ignorance on the other? Is knowledge to religion what water is to the wicked witch of the west?

I was watching them today at WalMart and I was astounded at how many of them lick their fingers to get a better grasp on the plastic bag to open them. For some reason, I just found this quite distrubing. Is this just me, or does anyone else feel this is just not quite healthy?

I have a friend whose part of some kind of Protestant Fundamentalist church and he thinks Mormons are not Christians and are going to hell. He'll talk about how LDS beliefs are "unbiblical." But the thing is the Church has Prophets who give people greater understanding. It isn't as if the Church invents totally new theology, it just brings things into focus. All Mormons pray in the name of Jesus Christ, heck the Church's official name is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints"! Sounds Christian to me!

I'm 23, almost 24, & when a teenager is talking about me, he/she might say, "That lil' girl over there...". I wonder if I'm gonna be called, "Lil' girl" when I'm 65 yrs. old. Is it because I look young & people say I have a baby face? Is it because I'm mentally handicapped? What is it? & they KNOW I'm 23! & they don't respect me & they treat me like I'm their equal. Like, I'm 23, & a 14 yr. old would refer to me as, "Lil' girl", saying, "Lil' girl, you're crazy & need help!"

If you think He does have genitals, then is He intact or circumcised? Why or why not?

If you think He is male, but doesn't literally have genitals, then how can "He" accurately be called "male". What makes Him male if He doesn't have male reproductive organs?

If you feel that "He" is actually without gender, then can it also be agreed on that males should not be given privilege over women because of the idea that males were made in God's image and women weren't. That would mean that all humans are made in God's image and not just men.
