And no I'm not Jewish, Muslim, or Buddhist. I thought there was a term for believers of God who don't follow a religion.

The generic term for someone who believes in the existence of a God or Gods is "theist".

"Deists" believe in a creator God that has long abandoned his creation (as opposed to the "personal" God believed in by Christians).

Monotheism is the belief in one God.
The religious conception of a single, transcendent god. It contrasts with polytheism (belief in many gods) and pantheism (belief in God as synonymous with the universe). Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are the principal monotheistic religions.

You havn't accepted the reality of the non existence of a god. You are using your imagination hoping you have got your butt covered just in case.

If you believe in exactly one god, you're a monotheist.

If you're a monotheist who's not a christian, you're a non-christian monotheist.

Or maybe you mean a deist?
