That is not in the Bible. That was an edict issued by the Catholic Church in the Church Council of Laodicea, 364 CE. This, like many other Roman adaptations, helped make the religion easier to sell to the pagan population of Rome, who traditionally reserved Sunday as their day of worship to their many gods.

James - give me a break. Have you even read that bible? In almost every mention of the Sabbath and its importance, it is given as the seventh day. Saturday is the seventh day of the week, and has been since the Old Testament was just some tribal legends people told each other.

NOT CHANGED... The 2 are different things. For those that buy the FALSE "Constantine changed it" line, How did Justin Martyr and Tertullian, to name just a few, WRITE SPECIFICALLY ABOUT CHRISTIANS MEETING OR "CELEBRATING" SUNDAY 100 to 150 years BEFORE Constantine.

Justin Martyr, First Apology, 156 A.D., ch. 67

"And we afterwards continually remind each other of these things. And the wealthy among us help the needy; and we always keep together; and for all things wherewith we are supplied, we bless the Maker of all through His Son Jesus Christ, and through the Holy Ghost. And on the day called Sunday, all who live in cities or in the country gather together to one place..."

The church met from the beginning on the "first day of the week, a.k.a. Sunday. There was NO CHANGE, they are simply DIFFERENT THINGS.

Where, in the New or Old Testament, does it say what day of the week is the Sabbath?

Where in the NT does it say that the sabbath was ever given to the church? The NT talks about the Lord's Day, not the Sabbath. The church began on Sunday, Jesus rose on Sunday, Christians met on Sunday, and every 7th day from Sunday is Sunday.

It doesn't.
I think that it was adopted by the early Christians to set them apart from the Jews.
The first Christian reference to Sunday is found in the First Apology of St. Justin Martyr (circa 150 A.D.). In a well-known passage of the Apology (Chapter 67), Justin describes the Christian custom of gathering for worship on Sunday. "And on the day called Sunday."

Youve seen life through distorted eyes
You know you had to learn
The execution of your mind
You really had to turn
The race is run the book is read
The end begins to show
The truth is out, the lies are old
But you dont want to know

Nobody will ever let you know
When you ask the reasons why
They just tell you that youre on your own
Fill your head all full of lies

The people who have crippled you
You want to see them burn
The gates of life have closed on you
And now theres just no return
Youre wishing that the hands of doom
Could take your mind away
And you dont care if you dont see again
The light of day

Nobody will ever let you know
When you ask the reasons why
They just tell you that youre on your own
Fill your head all full of lies

Where can you run to
What more can you do
No more tomorrow
Life is killing you
Dreams turn to nightmares
Heaven turns to hell
Burned out confusion
Nothing more to tell

Everything around you
Whats it coming to
God knows as your dog knows
Bog blast all of you
Sabbath bloody sabbath
Nothing more to do
Living just for dying
Dying just for you

It's a non-issue.

"Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day--

things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. "

Colossians 2:16,17

it doesn't need to be...it is well within the churchs' authority to move the sabbath if need be. i guess you're one of those who believe that man was made for the sabbath.
7th day adventist? legalistic garbage.

It doesn't...which is kind of humorous because so many Christians treat it as such

SO I would suggest obeying the intention of the law by giving plenty of your time to resting and praising God and don't sweat it
