What would be the point to that? That's the description of a god that doesn't play fair - which, if God existed, would be exactly right. Not only doesn't play fair by not giving us clear evidence of his existence, but also "planted" all sorts of evidence to misdirect us - dinosaur bones and such. If that God really did existed, by his actions he couldn't be judged to be very kind, let alone loving.

It is through the freedom of choice or "Free Will" which God gives to All humanity that some "Do" or "Do Not" know God.
This is so, that we may choose to seek knowledge of,or the presents of God by our own accord or "Free Will".(This is Gods gift to All)
All things were created "By" God, and therefore All things eventually return "To" God. This is the "Nature" of All things, or as some may term "The Cyclitic Nature Of The Universe".
As the months of the year brings its own seasons, Day and night rise and fall in sequence and life is rejuvinated through birth of the newborn, So "All Things " are as such.

Aw, that's just stupid! What kind of a dumbass game is that? TEST US? What a ludicrous concept! I could understand that sort of behavior from an eight year old mortal, but a god?
What ... is the great God almighty sitting up on a cloud with his thumbs in his ears, sticking his godly tongue out at us and singing, "Na na na boo boo! I'm not letting you see me!"
Test us. Give me a freaking break.

Are you without sight and without senses - so sorry what bad karma have you chosen to experience.
He is all around you, he is within you, he is above, below and to either side of you. In the blade of grass, the busy bee and the tall tall trees.
He does not hide himself - tell me can you prove that the planet earth exists? You know perhaps that it does. If planet earth existing is undeniably so then apparently so is the Creator!

Actually, I do agree. I think the whole point of faith is that we are not to rely on human wisdom. I also think that science has overstepped it's bounds. The scientific method is a marvelous tool that has allowed us to make great strides. But there are some things that cannot be measured or hypothesized. In those cases, science should simply say that it cannot answer those questions and the individual must come to his/her own conclusions. But they don't do that. Scientists say instead that if they can't measure it, it isn't true. That's illogical, insane, and egocentric.

It certainly makes is easier to believe the nonsense that way, doesn't it? Throw in a little bit of "evidence against God has been planted by Satan" and you're batting a thousand.

Actually there is plenty of scientific data to prove there must be a God.
For example, every pattern in the universe. Random processes cannot produce patterns. Randomness is merely a tool we use because our brains are not fast enough to adopt predictability.

Agree. The disciples walked with Jesus and still struggled in their faith at times. Jesus said," Blessed are they that have not seen me, and yet believe" ( John 20:29 ). Our blessing will be greater because we believe without a physical sign. True Christians don't ask for or need a sign to "believe" because we have God's Word and that is enough. Soon our trust will be rewarded and we will have Jesus face to face.

I'm agnostic. I believe there is a god/gods/etc. I think that some of us have a higher standard as to what we think is acceptable proof of the existence of god or his/her/their nature. For the rest, faith suffices.

Thats like testing some one on a subject they have never learned. What kind of god wants blind believers? Any worth while god would lead sheep, he would want ppl who can see and think.
