When the end times come, who do you think will prevail - the followers of the Flying Spaghetti Monster or the followers of the Invisible Pink Unicorn? My money is on the FSM - followers of an Invisible Pink Unicorn just seem like they would be kind of "namby pamby", but what you do think? And a big "RAMEN" to all you FSM fans out there!

Not just mormons though. This is for anyone who thinks their church is the one and only true church. How do you guys know for sure you're lucky enough to know the "truth"? I've had this feeling too, but now I'm starting to question it. If I "know" that my church is true, what does that mean of some suicide bomber in the middle east who also "knew" his church was true and was willing to go blow himself up over it? Wouldn't he have to be so completely and wholeheartedly convinced he had the truth? But wait a second, I though I felt something once that told me I had the truth. But I don't know if I'd blow myself up over it. So does that mean he was right and I was wrong? Maybe we both just felt something and got confused...

Anyway, I wanna hear what you have to say. How do you know your church is true?

I'm starting to think atheism is the best choice.

Now Cain murdered his brother Able, and Cain was sent out of the land by God and told not to come back. Cain got married. Number one who did cain marry since Adam and Eve were the first humans on the earth and they had Cain and Able. And second Cain was worried that the people were going to kill him. Who were these people and where did they come from? I tried asking a pastor this this morning and he rudley said that he is not a bible theologin. Then how did he get his pastors job? Anyway I need to know if you know anything about where thses people came from that Cain was so scared of, considering Adam and Eve were the first Humans on this earth. I know there were giants in the world at the time but he married a women not a giant from fallen angles. I am comfussed a bit.

I want to believe and ive always heard you cant be a true christian and go to heaven unless you have 100% percent faith in God. How can anybody believe in something they havent seen. Isnt it possible people trick themselves into believing miracles happen when it could have just been chance? I feel as if I will never be able to commit to religion. where can i get hard evidence scientific proof?

She told me this and I thoughts its very wrong and I was wondering if anyone of you have some advice I could give to her so it could be persuasive enough to change their mind of such a ridiculous "honor". While it's not GW's religious beliefs that are totally responsible for his ineptitude as a world leader, he has certainly let his strong religious ideals guide much of his decision making.

He's been the hero of the religious right, but obviously not many others.

The USA, under his leadership, has gone from being a greatly admired country around the world, to a laughing stock.

Most of us in other countries feel very saddened by this.

Will the American public ever again trust someone who is so evangelical with the keys to the White House?

why must if one person says i dont like god that u have to attack them

Something a bit creepy happened to me andnow that it has been decades later I can actually think about it without crying. My dad was killed by a mugger and I witnessed the whole thing happen when I was just 15. When I came to my dads side he was in bad shape but still conscious. I told him he would be fine and help was on the way. He looked at me and said there is something you should know. He told me that every religion is wrong and that he would not go to heaven but another dimention. I told him to stop talking and calm down. He died at the hospital later that night so I never talked to him again. Does anyone know what he might have been talking about? He went to church and was a cristian so I am confused.

One of my best friends is gay. Which im ok with BUT I also care about him alot. Him and I have always had a connection. Everyone tells me that him and I look at eachother like we are in love. He doesn't act like he is gay at all. We always tell eachother how much we love eachother and the other night we started kissing and stopped and it was like we were drawn back into eachother and then we continued to kiss. I don't mean to be rude, but for a minute try putting yourself in our shoes:

If you believed that Jesus is the only Way, and that you can't have eternal life except through Him, and also believed what He told us about hell, wouldn't you think that we have a moral responsibility to say something even if God hadn't told us to?

Yeah, I do apologise for the times when it may seem like we've tried to force you to follow; I completely respect that it's a choice that you have to make yourself - God wouldn't want it any other way, however, I personally know of many people - even in my town - who had never heard the gospel before, and I think it's important that ppl hear and are given the choice.

For the record, I think that when someone becomes a Christian, the things that we gain are - another friend in the church and in heaven, and it also makes God happy. (Yeah, and sure - it's a big encouragement.)
