i have relized people are so narrow minded
i am now wondering why
why must if one person says i dont like god that u have to attack them
why is it wrong it not believe in god or to believe in god
why is it wrong that some people like one thing and aome like the other
why is being gay/bi/lesbain wrong
why is being a differnt color rong
why are we this way
i bring this to mind . i am 14 and i am wondering
why adults dont see this
why ?

i a old enough i am mature for my age .. i dont walk around and do normal stuff 14 yr olds do i had to face reality early in my life
and i am not narrow minded at all its not focused when u hate someone cause they dont believe what u do

omg, karli be honest with your self here. your so full of it. you probably the most narrow minded person i know. people can't tell you anything, and you get mad. and when were you such a big christian, come on. serouisly, you didn't change life styles. you've been the excact same person for like 13 years. and no karli you are certainly not mature. you treat you little sister like crap, you whine when stuff doesn't go your way. a month ago your contact was bothering you and you cried for an hour. well untill ashley called. and obvisously your pretty arogant.
now for your question
well if you say you don't like god you are attacking someones beliefs. not believing in god means you have no beliefs. it's like deneying something someone believes in, and if you deny that then in a way you deny them. as for the other stuff people are just idiots.
and how about us talking about you wereing black.
what the hell does jesus m mean. it didn't make since, and plus how are kids to young to understand, what are we suppose to ignore things, then when ever we are called on we are suppose to know it. no, we need to ask questions like this, so we can understand these things, for the future. i think karli is doing a good thing, she is trying to figure things out. You seem very mature and level headed for a 14 year old. Religion is the biggest single reason why all of the examples of intolerance you cite exist. You are a bright person and I'm sure you can already see this. This is why atheists are so down on theists. Theists call them immoral for not believing in ridiculous stories while committing atrocious immoral acts. Naturally atheists are appalled by this attack on their values and ethics.

It's the easy out. If someone determines the world is ONE way and one way only then they are always right.
The problem with this delusion is that others will challenge it. And that is scary to the believer. Because if the challenge to the ideal is successful then that persons entire delusion is false. And unfortunately too many people make HUGE life decisions on these narrow minded delusions.
What if you base your life on one idea only to find out it is wrong? Then everything you have done is for naught. That's why people hold on so hard to narrow mindedness it gives their actions purpose.

Well Karli...That is soo true. I really do hate when people judge other people or ain't very nice to people just because they are black, white, silver, blue, or purple. I also hate it when people are judged on if they are fat or anorexic. I really hate that. Then people go out and say this and that without thinking. It makes me very angry....

It has a lot to do with ignorance. They don't have enough information because they don't read books, and they don't want to know about other people or cultures, so they only know about themselves, and their leaders use propaganda against others to keep them even more ignorant.

It's annoying when some preacher comes here and starts rapping about Jesus and the bible. I tell them God doesn't exist, and they don't understand. They go bring some bible verses and tell me I am going to hell. And you expect me not to be mad?
