ok ALOT of African Americans use the slavery thing and say everyone is predujice against them. If they get arrested, all of the sudden it's just because he's African American and we hate him. They always pull that card and I am tired of it!!!! I have nothing against African Americans or any other race for that matter, but they act like everyone does. They think that everyone should give them the world because we forced them to be slaves for us, but WE didn't our ancestors did and it was awful and i'm against it, but now alot of them have turned the tables and hate white people because of what WE did, but WE didn't do it, the people before us did. I don't treat them like dirt and yet that is how alot of them treat me. I am not saying that everyone one who is Black does this, but it just seems like alot of them do. They give me dirty looks and curse at me and i'm sick of it. I stick up for people getting made fun of for race or anything else and think it is horrible and yet there is...

Its only found in the Word of God.

Why are so many of God's people so comfortable with their spiritual lives following the teachings of men? (i.e. your pastors, teleevangelists, authors, etc).

Take heed:
"And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." 2 Thess 2:10-12

" Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils" 1 Timothy 4:1

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables" 2 Timothy 4:3,4

and if you still get along with everyone, how did you overcome such powerful influences of hate and develop your own mind and opinions of people without bias. Did you have a certain experience that changed you or did you always think that your family was wrong?

How does common sense add up? If there was no God, nothing bigger than our common sense, then how did time begin? If time never began, then there are infinite years behind us, so how did we get here? How could any point in time have more behind it? That's beyond my common sense. I've seen too many atheist theories that depend on common sense. All math and science is an extension on common sense (hold up two fingers on each hand you get four is common sense, for example). I do feel I must admit, my accusation all rely on infinity, which mathematically doesn't exist (look at my other question), but don't allot of atheists rely on infinity? Just post your thoughts. Somehow, I bet I did something wrong. :P

If you see writing in the sand do you think a human or nature made it?

Nature can make patterns but nature can not make INFORMATION.

Our DNA is INFORMATION. SomeONE had to make it. That someone is GOD.

Can anyone argue with this logic?

I don't mind helping my neighbors out at all, but I am worried because this puppy takes a piss on everything...the floors, the steps, me...everything! I feel bad about saying that I cannot do this, but I also don't think it would be a good idea especially because I have to go to work during the days and the puppy would often be home alone in an unfamiliar flat. It's only for just a bit over a week, but it still may be a bad idea.

Last year, I had to babysit the neighbor boy's Furbies too. They were the exact same way with pissing all over everything...the floors, the steps, me...everything! I ended up blindfolding one and dropping it off somewhere and cooking the other one. I told the boy that his Furbies were kidnapped...

I don't need a repeat of last summer! Eh, it would be worse instead because last summer it was just the Furbies. This summer it is the Furbies plus a puppy, but it's hard to say 'no' when someone asks for help...

I mean was that the best they could come up with? That'd be like my calling my cat: "Cat", or my dog, "Dog".

Humans' imagination for make-believe has created and named thousands of these larger-than-life parental figures of worship: http://www.godchecker.com, so isn't it a bit ironic that all this creativity has been devoted to a fantasy creature, but then he's given this boring first name? Can anyone think of a better one? 10 points to the winning entry.

If you are an atheist, then she is a theist and wants to convince you that god exists.

If you are in the other categories, she tries to convince you that what you believe is wrong.

Please help me understand why some non-Catholics would rather rely on news reports about Church documents than dare gaze upon the documents themselves. Will the power of God coming through the documents result in a 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' type effect in non-Catholics?

Two examples of obstinate refusal:

According to Mormonism, Nephi while in Israel was commanded to obtain the Brass Plates from a guy named Laban, these Brass Plates were like another bible. Was it common for the ancient Israelites to record scripture on brass? Or is that just a Mormon thing?
