According to Mormonism, Nephi while in Israel was commanded to obtain the Brass Plates from a guy named Laban, these Brass Plates were like another bible. Was it common for the ancient Israelites to record scripture on brass? Or is that just a Mormon thing?

I have an engraved plaque on my desk that says "World's Worst Picker" referring to my guitar artistry. Does this mean it's an ancient document? - the Maxwell institute would have you think that. That's not science, that's grasping at straws..

Now, writing/engraving complete scripture on a metal alloy not invented yet in a language reviled by Jews that apparently only Laban and Lehi had knowledge of with an up-to-date genealogy and complete 'old testament' long before the Greek Septuagint was assembled, you have the makings of a Smith inspired hoax.

Yeah, I was reading about the Strangite mormons last night, and apparently they found a set of Brass plates in Wisconsin somewhere. I don't know more than that, but isn't that enough proof? I"m sure an angel took them away to 'protect' them from the evil world.

Years after Joseph Smith died, plates have been found all over the world inscribed with writings.

Before that they said he was a fraud because no evidence like that had been found. Once they found it, does that mean he's not a fraud???
