Everyone knows that Beyonce` copied from Kyle Monique with the whole robot outfit at the BET Awards last month. Afterwards, Perez Hilton called her a robo[you know]. Then, Al Sharpton wrote a letter to him saying that he shouldn't call her that. Then Perez wrote back by saying that that was not the first time he called someone a [you know]. Are African-Americans being too senstive whenever someone does something to someone else in their race??????

I believe so, however, Perez Hilton nor anyone else should be referring to any woman as a (what he called her). I think it is complete disrespect, and it shouldn't be tolerated.

I think where we got too sensitive was that comment that was made about Barrack being "articulate, and clean". I thought it was a bit outrageous for people to get so upset about that situation. But when someone shows complete disrespect for a woman, it sickens me. Perez wouldn't be too happy if he was called a f**(you know the derogatory term for a homosexual).

By the way, I didn't think the thing was racial, I just find it appalling to call a woman a name like that.

Well a bad word is a bad word right? So it has nothing to do with the sensitivity issue, the fact that it had to be addressed as by someone says that it probably was out of line. To say if African-Americans are being too sensitive is like asking someone of east indian descent if they would be sensitive about being called a "paki". Just because the n word is exploited by rappers etc. it does not mean that ppl lose their sensitivity

Why are people always talking about Sharpton whenever you talk about Blacks? Do you really think we all stand-by and support him? And so what if we did, why should we have to explain ourselves to others? Why people always talking about a couple people's actions, as if it's the actions of all Blacks? You people need to get real and it doesn't matter what color you are.

Everyone is always talking about why is everything a race thing--Why do people make it a race thing. Everything is not meant in a racist way--But yet, you can't even deny the racism in America--happening in 2007, so please stop talking about how sensitive someone/people are.

And you don't even have dig that deep into TMZ and Perez Hilton's archives to see their true colors and that's Blacks/ Jews/Middle Easterns/Hispanics/Asians etc.

like all people of all races, there are those that are more and less sensitive to things that people of other races say and do. these people however tend to be those that are more or less sensitive to everything anyway. the sad thing though is that we as human beings separate ourselves from each other, by race, and then try to subjugate others by race, or eliminate other races. many have tried that, one of the most recent being Adolph Hitler. hate needs to be eliminated if we are going to make this a better world.

Too many Uneducated people out there in the world. I do not think African American People have ever been treated as an equal. I really doubt if they ever will be, because of Uneducated people. People of all Culture's need to get along and forget about skin color. It is in Great Judgement to call names, I really do not think so.

No. They are not. Isn't it a natural human response to be upset when someone insults you? African-Americans have been insulted for too long for little to no reason most of the time, and maybe they're just getting a little tired of it! I think anyone would. How is that being "too sensitive"?

By the way, "Common Sense" really said it the best! I totally agree.

NO, AA's aren't being too sensitive, Al Sharpton has absolutely nothing else to do with himself. He is not the authority on anything let alone himself. You really have to consider the source. Best Wishes
