An Atheist actually scientifically proved creation when he tried to prove evolution (he was so dedicated to his unbelief in God that he wanted to prove evolution and in the process he proved creation).
Of course this Atheist didn't wanna admit God was real so he came up with the Space Aliens brought us here theory.

Of course not. The world's atheists have only one thing in common: we are certain that gods do not exist. As it happens, a large part of the scientific worlds are made up of atheists. And, I would think off the top, that atheists in the USA and the UK read more books, know more not only about the long path of human evolution but also the Christian bible itself. In fact, many atheists became so after reading the Holy Bible. We're really like most people in our everyday lives, and religion, and atheism, are not consuming subjects. It's the fundamentalists, the Fundies, who seem to be fixated on a Bronze Age tribal god. I'm sure the chap makes delightful company but it's there for all to see, that he knows precious little about this universe he is said to have created. In fact, at least in the Christian bible, he strongly mirrors the mind of your average man of the First Century. I can't for the life of me think why that would be.

No, there are some out there who just can't be bothered to give it any thought at all, the same as it is with some of the people who follow religion instead.
In response to your 2nd question, you could argue that it would be better if everybody was more logical.

Not really...have always been good in the logical thing, just a part of my nature, however with science...though it does interest me, I just don't have the science genes to get too involved other then reading about stuff...more the artistic type.

No and yes to your questions. I've noticed an awful lot of people on this forum, claiming to have logic and reason on their side. But from what I have seen, they wouldn't notice a modus ponens if it bit them in the ****.

people are atheist for different reasons, not all of which are based on science.

No. You can believe what you want for the reasons you want. Just don't let me catch you in an obvious lie.
