after a very terrible incident in my life, I told God I would dedicate my life to Him as a Nun. I never did, does God hold me to it? Am I obligated after swearing I would?

Who should I see about this?

Job 36:27

"He draws up the drops of water which distill as rain to the streams, the clouds poor down their moisture, and abundant showers fall on man kind." (The water is drawn up, then becomes moisture in the clouds, then falls down... And this is thousands of years ago... )

26:7
"He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; He suspends the earth over nothing." (For centuries, no one knew how the earth was in space. They imagined it hanging or sitting upon something. Imagine, if they believed it was flat... but how the Bible, written plenty before that, knew about the suspention over nothing... I dunno...)

Ec 1:6
"Blowing toward the south, Then turning toward the north, The wind continues swirling along; And on its circular courses the wind returns." (Wind currents? They knew about wind currents? People didn't even know the world was round, but TOT knew about circular wind currents?)

It might be just something I’ve noticed but, when I hear a preacher talk to his flock, especially the ones that attack evolution, the tone of their voices seem to change; when attacking evolution it’s a harsh, authoritarian voice with no doubt whatsoever, but when it’s something like the 10 commandments, it’s a soft, pleading tone like that of a loving parent disobeyed by a rebellious child. This is a pretty effective trick, does it take long to learn?

((((((((((HUG))))))))))))
yeah you got hugged
now the Pangelism is gonna seep into your pores
no amount of washing will get it out
and you may start to feel the need to hug others and be more tolerant and respectful
you may feel a little queasy at first but dont worry .... thats just love
when you get used to it , you will understand its power and be able to put it to use by spreading it to others

MWAAHHAAAAHHAAA !!!
so what you gonna do eh ?

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - The Vatican said on Tuesday Christian denominations outside Roman Catholicism were not full churches of Jesus Christ.

...described Christian Orthodox churches as true churches, but suffering from a "wound" since they do not recognize the primacy of Pope.

..."wound is still more profound" in Protestant denominations.

"Despite the fact that this teaching has created no little distress ... it is nevertheless difficult to see how the title of 'Church' could possibly be attributed to them," it saidThe document said the Council's opening to other faiths recognized there were "many elements of sanctification and truth" in other Christian denominations, but stressed only Catholicism had all the elements to be Christ's Church...

The text refers to "ecclesial communities originating from the Reformation," a term used to refer to Protestants and Anglicans.

I didn't have enough room for the whole article, but you get the point.

What would you do, say to the "god(s)". would you feel you whole life was a waste?

Please no disrespectful answers, thanks!

Well i'm told to trust in god, and he will work things out for you...but why does evil happen to innocent people when they are believers in the good future god says he has for us. for example, a 5 year old girl is stabbed to death by some criminal...where was god in this good bible based girl. what happened to her future or plan that god had for her....this makes we question the "authenticity" of this belief.

They are considered the Trinity, or all in one, the same. So does it make a difference which one you pray to?
A minister told me once that Jewish pray to just God and that Christians should pray to Jesus. Is that right?
So I guess there are 2 questions here.

I was speaking to a friend, and we were discussing rape, and why God would allow it. She said that she used to be an Evangelist and she was taught that it was actually the Devil that made bad things happen, God would try to sort them out, but because the Devil is stronger than God, it didn't always work.
She also said that she was given evidence such as 'nice' things been bad for you. Eating chocolate, recieving money.
That this showed how the Devil had affected us all.

Can anyone tell me if this is true or not?

I see this term used a lot and people state that they are fine with homosexuality, as long as it is not "shoved in their face". What I want to know is what constitutes "shoving it in your face".

If I walk down the street holding my wife's hand, is that shoving it in your face? Should I not be allowed to display affection except when I'm in the confines of my home or some "gay safe house". I mean I don't do public display's of affection that often (not because I'm gay, but because I'm private), but if I choose to, shouldn't I be able to?

To me shoving it in your face, would be coming up to you, telling you how you should denounce your heterosexuality and become gay, because my gay bible says you should. And how you chose to be heterosexual and how vile you are. And when you refuse, I march and go to the Capitol to make sure you have no rights to be heterosexual. Sound familiar??

That's shoving it in your face!
