Of course they do... if they TRULY believed the end result is heaven, and it's soooo much better than this place, they would be trying to die.
Not by suicide, because that's a 'sin'. But I am sure they would be trying to live dangerously,... such as: skydiving with a 100 year old man packing your parachute, joining a bomb squad, moving to Iraq, or taking a nap on the train tracks...
But no, you never see them doing that - therefore, we can only assume they are LIARS!!

Well although I'm not a church person, I am religious and I do not fear death. I'm not ready to leave this world yet, but when my time comes I will go to be with the Father so there is nothing to fear.

I don't fear death, but I'm anxious about the manner in which I'll die.
I have faith that because rose from the dead, so will I, so death is temporary. I have a clean conscience, so I won't hide myself from the Lord for the Final Judgment. I already have friends and loved ones I want to see.

Death is just a transition, (for the real Human being, the Living energy), from a material body, into the ethereal world, and into a new ethereal Body, into an ethereal existence.
One more experience before getting to join God, in eternity, (Heaven), as energies capable to acknowledge, the perfect physicality, in the essences of our own Living energy, (Human Being), Not, more need for matter, substances of matter a/o elements to experience a inferior material existence. Death doesn't scare me, because I know, that this, is Truth.Word's

No, I don't fear death itself. Being human, of course I kind of fear the actual dying - I hope that it doesn't hurt - but as for leaving this existence, not at all. I am anxious to go home.

No. I remember Paul (the apostle) saying that if he lived he would take joy in it because he was able to serve God on this earth and he died, then he would be happy because he would be in heaven with His Father.
I feel the same way. Death is more that it seems. Even though, in this limited world we only find a dead body, there is much more than that of course, if that person had a relationship with God

The bible says it best for me: (Philippians 1:21) "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."
I look forward to death. Many times as a nurse I have seen death. The family cries and the dying fear the unknown. Yet their face is peaceful and all pain is gone. They are with Jesus. I have seen heaven it is beautiful.
Everyone who has been back from death talks about the light and the happy ,peaceful feeling. What is there to fear, not death, Jesus came back,One day so will we.

I know I've got God's work to do here. Aside from that, I can't wait to get out of this place. How can I fear death when God has made so many wonderful promises to me?

I'm religious, I know I'm not suppose to fear death, but I'm human so I do...rather I fear the act of dying. I don't want to die in a horrible way, stabbing, choking to death...

Everyone is appointed a time to die, and so I don't fear something that will happen to me sooner or later.
Now, the dying part, I'm not ready for, nor do I want to experience.
But, I know what has been promised for me, and for that reason, I don't fear eternity.
