They are considered the Trinity, or all in one, the same. So does it make a difference which one you pray to?
A minister told me once that Jewish pray to just God and that Christians should pray to Jesus. Is that right?
So I guess there are 2 questions here.

Pray to God in the name of Jesus. When you pray, include Jesus (he is the sacrificial lamb that shed his blood for you). Pray to God in private in your prayer closet (at home). Speak to him as your father and ask him to guide you through life or how to handle certain situations. Don't ask for materialistic things or a job.

You are baptized by the holy spirit. The holy spirit guides you and puts the words into your head to preach the word that some else needs, that you would not know of your self.

DO THE WILL OF GOD

You need to find a home church, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)

Cant answer for the Jews. But Christians are to pray to God in the name of Jesus. The Holy Spirit intercepts for us because we really dont know what to pray.

To be a Christian I guess you would want to pray to Christ...that's where the word Christian comes from. But if you are a Christian and want to pray to deity then pray to God. This is what Jesus did. He did not pray to Himself but He prayed to God.

You will not find the"Trinity" in the bible. Jesus never said with His own words that He is God...Christians will show you verses where it could be implied but there is no passage from the original language texts that records Jesus as actually saying He is God.

Since the Holy Spirit helps Christians, I find myself praying to Him for guidance, power, and wisdom. I find that He answers every time. I also pray to the Father and am trying to have a closer relationship with Jesus by praying to Him.
I have asked this question a couple of times. I was made to feel that it was wrong to pray to the Holy Spirit and began to feel uncomfortable doing it. But since He does answer, I continue to do it.

Jews say there is only one G-d. Christians believe the Jesus, the man, was the son of G-d and then became G-d himself (no one is sure how that actually happened). The holy spirit is the feeling that you have that G-d is in you. Pray to G-d, the Father, its a lot less confusing.

I think that when you pray to one of them, you're praying to them all, since they're all God (i.e. the Trinity). However I usually pray "Dear Heavenly Father" or "Dear Jesus" and rarely "Dear Holy Spirit". I think basically it's the way I've learned from hearing other people pray and using those phrases. I don't think there's a right way and a wrong way per say, but if you really want to know try asking a pastor!

Jesus and the Holy Spirit are God, too -- so careful with your wording.

And the Jewish god and the Triune God (the God of Christians) are two very different things.

Pray to God, our Creator, supplier. Jesus is our Intercessor to God. The Holy Spirit is our Guide, Comforter, Teacher, and Protector.
