Job 36:27

"He draws up the drops of water which distill as rain to the streams, the clouds poor down their moisture, and abundant showers fall on man kind." (The water is drawn up, then becomes moisture in the clouds, then falls down... And this is thousands of years ago... )

26:7
"He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; He suspends the earth over nothing." (For centuries, no one knew how the earth was in space. They imagined it hanging or sitting upon something. Imagine, if they believed it was flat... but how the Bible, written plenty before that, knew about the suspention over nothing... I dunno...)

Ec 1:6
"Blowing toward the south, Then turning toward the north, The wind continues swirling along; And on its circular courses the wind returns." (Wind currents? They knew about wind currents? People didn't even know the world was round, but TOT knew about circular wind currents?)

If science never proved the water cycle and the wind currents and everything else... no one would believe it. Why any of you could see that the water cycle, space, and wind currents are real is because you read it in a science book. Btw. The Old Testeament went before the Greeks...

God knew about it becuase He created it. The Bible is inspired by God, which means "God breathed."

Man was God's tool to write it. For example, who wrote this answer, me or my keyboard? Silly, but it's an illustration.

It's wonderful that you realized that as you read these passages. God, through the Holy Spirit, caused the writers of these passages to know these truths. God, who created all that is, tells scientific truth. After all, He is the creator of not only the physical earth but also of the laws of science. And God also worked in you so that you could see that truth!

The ancient Greeks knew much more science than the Hebrews. As did the Chinese. Read some history.

a) any idiot looking at a river could see that it must flow to somewhere. and any idiot understands that rain comes from the sky and from clouds--hey look! that cloud changes colors right before it rains...hmmm...interesting!

b) the bible also says the earth was on pillars. try a passage that doesn't contradict itself.

c) really? the wind keeps on blowing all over the place in all directions? wow, who but an insanely intelligent scientist could have figured that one out. oh wait. that's right. any idiot who's ever stood outside when it's windy.

Sure why not? This is starting to sound Muslim...Science is not proving God we know God by his revelation. The fact that God created science in not really that impressive is it?
