If he studied Bhagavad Gita,he would have known how to defend the country from barbarians,who kill cows and rape women and children-all in the Name of Allah!

so I didn't feel welcomed to visit my cousin (who had been like a sister to me). I felt it clearly that he didn't want me around when they had children, so I didn't see them much. Then about 15 years later they divorced and it came out that he had been molesting his own daughter!!! Is that any surprise to you or do you think a lot of times, the more straight and strict they act, the sicker they are???

Considering Genesis claims all the mountains were underwater, and that would require more than a mile of water above the current sea level, and this water was in the atmosphere before the flood, any idea what the air pressure would have to be to allow this?

Ever been a mile underwater? It's enough to squeeze the pulp out of you.

So why insist this is some kind of scientific fact when the truth is it could never have happened without wiping out all life on the planet -before- the Flood?

In some Major Oriental & Greek Religions, there is equality &

there are Feminine Goddesses.

But in Some Major Religions of ther Globe, there are no feminine

Representations in the Hierarchy of Gods.

Don't YOU feel it is Discrimination against Women?

still have support websites for Kent Hovind. Kent Hovind was that famous Evangelical Christian who got arrested and thrown in jail for 10 years because he was conviced of 20 counts of tax fraud. I saw this webiste saying that he was targeted by the scientific community because of his creationist beliefs. How many counts of tax fraud must a man get convicted of before the creationists admit, "OK maybe he did it." Man it's got to burn the creationists knowing that the most famous creation scientist of all time got thrown in jail for 10 years due to tax fraud.

So i am attending my cousins wedding next weekend and i am trying to pick out an outfit. I've been to a few weddings before but i wasn't out then, so i did the whole dress thing. I don't want to go in a dress but wearing a full suit doesn't seem quite right either. so what is appropriate formal wear for a soft butch?

They say, "God CANNOT become a man. . ."
It is arrogant, first of all, to say that God cannot do something.
And God DID become a man in the Old Testament.
Genesis 18
1And the LORD appeared unto him (Abraham) in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
2And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
3And said, My LORD, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:

Abraham called these three men, "MY LORD", and then he bowed to them. Had these men been angels, they would have told Abraham to rise and not to worship them.
When Daniel tried to worship Gabriel, the angel told him not to, that he is just a messenger from God.

Isn't an 'idea', for example, something that bears fruit only in the future, and thus is not necessarily immediately visible, other than in theory?

Except maybe, in others.

Is this called [temporary] agnosticism?

Today's world doesn't seem to support the bibles description of God. Look at the amount of innocent death in the world today. Then think how can God be All loving, All knowing, and All powerful. You can only really pick 2 out of the 3. Maybe he is All loving but doesn't know about what's happening or can't do anything about it. Or maybe he can do something about it, but just chooses not to. That would make him Powerful and Knowing.... Just not loving... See the paradox here. He can't be all three. Or the world would not be the way it is today.... You wouldn't be able to explain the rape and murder of a small innocent child. Even though it happens more times then anybody would like to admit... My question, is this just ignored in church or temple.. Or do you have a reason for this...?

It's something that I generally laugh off, and i've only ever used the reporting system on a couple of occassions where the offense has been extreme and very personal. One was a very nasty attack on my 4 year old daughter (from a "christian").

I can't imagination atheists actually be small minded enough to report the christians every time they tell us we'll burn in hell, even though it's a blatant violation of guidelines.

Would there be many christians left here if we all reported them everytime they went against guidelines?

I'm a very shy and quiet person. If I don't know you I'm not just gonna start a conversation. Normally when I go somewhere like with a friend(for example)and I get introduced to new people I have nothing to say. I just sit there until they talk to me. People are always saying "you don't say much do you." Why point out my faults! I can't help it that I'm not like most people and all I do is talk about myself and bump my gums about nonsense. I have no idea what to say to people that I just met and don't know a thing about. I hate being a damn wallflower.

about sin. I keep hearing Jesus never said this about that; but Jesus did say unless you believe that I am He you will die in your sins. What sins? He never talked about sins. He said I came to take away the sin of the world. What sin? Am I confused, I thought all the sins Jesus didn't mention came from the OT; those transgression against God. That why He came so that we wouldn't face eternal punishment. What say you.
