I've been trying to make this point for 2 years with people who go on talking about "It's June 6, 2006! Does that mean it's going to be the end of the world?" or "It's July 7, 2007! Is God going to come down?!"

No. 1. God's "number" is a trinity of 7's which is supposed to correspond to Satan, which is the supposed 666. However, recent evidence found that the Number of the Beast, 666, was a mistranslation from the New Testament. The oldest surviving version of the New Testament suggests that it was actually 616, meaning God's "number" is not 777.
2. The calendar used in biblical times is much different from the calendar we now use to dictate a year. If anything were to happen on a "holy day", I'm sure that holy day would depend ont he biblical calendar.

I do look to God everyday and talk to Jesus. But in a phone number I love the number because 7 or 11 reminds me of God, also the ten commandments. I am a sinner who repented . I must remember and be reminded often, and these numbers help me. Seven sounds like eleven and that reminds of heaven.

You may or may not understand. I try to keep God and Jesus on my mind continuously. perhaps you see this as crazy but it makes since to me.
God bless you.

I have no idea why 07/07/07 is supposed to have any "significance".

Because the 6/6/06 craze didn't turn out how they thought it would.

I think the 12/12/12 one will be the big one, because all those Mayan calendar-watching freaks will be saying that the end is extremely nigh.

They've been doing it at least once a year every year...sad existence that they would start "predicting" when the end will come.

It's fun to speculate, imagine and wonder what if....it's called free thinking....it's fun you should try it some time.

You might just enjoy yourself for a change.

You are also supposing a negative outcome which is no necessarily the case.
