He thought Sri Krishna was a myth!
If he studied Bhagavad Gita,he would have known how to defend the country from barbarians, who kill cows and rape women and children-all in the Name of Allah!

I'm not. I don't even call him 'mahatma'. He did more harm than good.

Gandhi worshipped Lord Rama and very few persons utter god's name when they die suddenly like in accident etc.
I do not feel that one should worship Gandhi because he was a human man who arose with his determination, hard work etc.
Maybe Gandhi was fascinated by Shree Ram way of life.
He admired the Shree Ram way of making others smile at the cost of his own tough life.
Gandhi never focused on the another personality of Shree Ram - To fight against injustice and take weapon on hand when needed. God Ram did in the end when all the talks failed with King Ravana.
Gandhi never liked weapons but he should had understood that even Shree Ram had to take weapons and fight war when the talks failed.

Actually Gandhi only found out about the Bhagavad-Gita from a Westerner when he was living in Britain! I am also surprised that more Indians who love Krishna don't know about the great Avatar Shri Ramakrishna Paramahansa, who said to his disciple, Swami Vivekananda, "He who was Rama, he who was Krishna, is in this body, Ramakrishna. And not just from the standpoint of your Vedanta, either."

What are you talking about? He did a pretty good job of advocating peace. He said he would fast until all the rioting and violence stopped and you know what, the fighting stopped. Let's see you do that.

He was a good man.
