Try thinking for yourself. Put away the dogma that you were indoctrinated with.

It's wonderful that you are saved. HOWEVER....that doesn't mean your life will be hunky dory. satan HATES when you give your life to God and he (satan) will try to tempt you at first. The closer to God you are, the more he hates it. So...you just keep getting closer to God, and hang on. God is right beside you and he will never let you go. If it feels like you're only hanging on by a thread sometimes....hang on cause God is there hanging onto you.

Run to God for everything, not just the bad times. Praise Him everyday. Tell satan to get lost cause he'll never win. Talk to God about everything, good and bad. He's there 24/7 for you!!!

My youngest daughter is 16 and since 14 she's had a very hard time with peer pressure, girls being soooo mean to her, threatening her, etc. I feel bad for her and I would NEVER want to be a teen these days. I say if you can make it through your teen years without being messed up in some way, you've got it made!

So just keep holding onto the Father, and He will never let you go!!!!

Part of that is just from growing up. Growing up's hard, and it doesn't get easier, but the Christian life is not easy, either. Why else would Jesus say "Blessed are you when men shall revile you and persecute you in my name?" No one wants to be reviled and persecuted, and it's certainly no fun. What God promised is that there would be joy (not necessarily all the time, mind you), and that ALL THINGS would work together for the good of those that love Him. Whatever happens here in this life, remember that you've got Heaven waiting on you, and He'll be there, and there's no tears there. This life last but for the flickering of a candle. Keep your eyes on Him and He'll get you home, and it'll be worth it all.

Jesus never said following Him would be easy. In fact, His promise to His people was this:

John 16:33b(NIV) "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Jesus warned Christians that we will have problems. We do not belong to this world. We belong to the Kingdom of God. Since we belong to God, this world will be against us. This will be especially true whenever you attempt to obey God. A mature Christian learns after many years walking with God to expect hardship and trials, for this is the life of a Christian.

There is not a single place in the bible that says life in this world will be easy. That is a false teaching used to lure people away from God. Think about it: if you think life is supposed to be easy and it's not, then your first reaction is to blame God. You start to lose faith. You must know that following Jesus costs a lot. In fact, Jesus told us to weigh the cost in Luke 14:26-33. Verse 33 says, "any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple."

Matthew 13: 5 onwards some fell on rocky places, the place it did no longer have plenty soil. It sprang up without postpone, because of the fact the soil became into shallow. yet whilst the sunlight got here up, the flora have been scorched, and that they withered in view that they had no root. different seed fell between thorns, which grew up and choked the flora. so u would be saved like the flora that got here up yet in an prolonged time died and additionally die the comparable way whilst u pass returned to ur old existence-sort. being saved skill to stroll and be extra like Jesus on a daily basis. You announce your faith and Satan is aware now and wants you to join his side. Read Deuteronomy 30:19 and discuss it's meaning with someone. No that the pressure comes great up against the saved and called. God knows you have this certain talent and Satan knows it too, and Satan will use whoever and whatever to prevent you from using it. Let the weak say they're strong and find time to devote yourself to actually reading his word daily and ponder it's meaning. Because the enemy will fade but never completely go away, that's why you must get stronger in the faith.

Actually, Jesus never said things were going to be easy. He just said it would be worth it in the end. Sometimes things in life happen that we don't always understand, or they don't go the way we think they should. Just pray that the Lord gives you faith and that you are able to trust in Him during your "suffering."

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
~Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version)~

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. "
~Proverbs 3:5-6 (New International Version)~

You do what is in your heart. If you think something is wrong with what you are doing, don't do it anymore. Read all sorts of different types of books, educate yourself and research other religions or ways of thinking. You can't control some of the things that happen in life, but you can sure control how you react and how you deal with situations. Good luck. You will be fine!

Remain faithful, trust God with what you are going through. He knows exactly where you are and what you are going through, and it is within His purposes for you. We all suffer from time to time, especially believers. He never promised an easy road, but He did promise He would be with us through it all. Just remember, when you are on a mountain top, be wary, a valley is coming, when you are in a valley, look up, your mountain top is coming.

God may be testing your faith. I went through a 4 year period of that too. It's hard to understand why things happen to us. We just need to remember not to blame God. My parents split when I was in 7th grade. There was a custody battle, we moved. Then were pulled back. And finally allowed to move again. It was messy and very emotional. But I think I'm stronger because of it. I never doubted God. I went to church and cried and prayed with my mom. We are now happy, but not so rich. I've definitely learned that money is important, but family is even more so. Stay faithful. He will see you through. He never promised that life would be easy. God bless.
