We pay veternarians hundreds or thousands of dollars to heal cats and dogs while many people can't afford medicine and treatment. Some even condone their defacation on public property. You may know people who treat their dogs like children. A wise man once said if you see two beings, and one is carrying the other's ****, who's in charge? So why do we buy dog biscuits and doggy day care while being inconsiderate to our fellow man?
Dogs can be autonomous, and you can be nice and have a dog, your car just smells funny.

If God is willing to prevent evil, but is not able to
Then how can he be almighty?

If He is able, but not willing
Then is he not evil himself?

If He is both able and willing
Then why is there evil?

If He is neither able nor willing
Then why call Him God?

Note: I hope there is an answer but I think this is proof that there is no logic in following a higher power. If you can actually can actually answer these questions for me you may give me a reason to go to church. Thanks!

come to the LGBT section?
I know that there are quite a lot of people who support the LGBT community and their feedback is always welcome but I really want to know why do the more hateful or judgemental individuals troll the board. Just be honest, say what you think. If you seek to 'convert' us, why. Why do you care so much what we do in our lives, it's not like it really impacts on you does it?

I hope I get some decent answers, thanks for your time.

I want some answers from christian women. God created man
from his own image! God made woman from a man's rib! God did not intend to create woman! God created woman to satisfy man!( Eve was created to accompany Adam) In that sense you(woman) could compare yourself to a dog or a monkey( composed with legs and arms, two eyes, one nose, one mouth, etc.) and way inferior to man. Really! In the beginnig there was God(man), and no woman. Man can be proud of being identical(anatomically) to God, but women can be only be considered an animal. Why did God not create woman as his own image? Christian women, you should reasses yourself as being nothing but a creation caused by a sudden thought of God wanting to accompany man.(Adam) I feel sorry for you chrisitan women. But do not be sad, atleast monkeys look close enough to humans and God himself. I wonder why God would create an animal that looks similar to humans? Strange?? Get a clue Christians and notice the sarcasm and lesson in this!

This is a excerpt from a response given by a relatively new Y/A user... I think it makes a clear picture of why some people are encouraged by science and disenchanted with religion.

What do you think?

"The thing about science is that it doesn't claim to know the answers to everything. Religion does. Science on the other hand works at obtaining knowledge. When it makes mistakes, it acknowledges the mistake, corrects it, and moves on. Religion does not." (Thank you, Jacquelyn)

Shouldn't there be a ton more half-human/half-monkey skeletons on earth than just maybe one in a locked glass? If evolution took so long a time, shouldn't there be tons of em? More half-human/half-monkey skeletons than there are full human ones? Humans haven't been here nearly as long as how long some stages of evolution took, so shouldn't there be more half-human/half-monkeys lying around?

There's no evidence that space just decided to explode, and I'm not going to trust an ape to tell me that it did...

why don't you believe in evolution (even though it's pretty much been proven as fact)? And if god created the universe, why is there so much space? And are we his "only" children, or is there another planet with more of us on it?

It's been Established that the Bible has been horribly torn to pieces by Kings and had parts removed and destroyed, And that the translators admit that it could be Way off, and on top of that there has been an inability to Even get Three of the same Numbers that appear Consecutively correct.

So why on Earth when establishing that the bible is unreliable do religious people turn towards the bible and quote it, and cite passages from something thats Obviously corrupted and most likely incorrect to prove a Point or enforce their Bliefs?

It's like trying to show someone how a Machine works, when the machine is Broken, It doesn't make any sense... and it might not even be the right machine, and some parts have been substituted and may not even be right or are totally Gone.

I just don't get it.

If he/she can't promise to provide financial support for you and are unsure if it can provide a stable living home for you in the future.

But he/she can promise to love you for the rest of your life and no others, and make you laugh everyday, and will protect you with its life.

Ok christians acccording to your bible god created everything and it says "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good". So I guess going by your book that your god created pot too and so therefore it too should be good.
Your god also is supposed to have said-
- "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
So does this mean your god said we should smoke/eat pot? Would it be a sin if we didn't?

ok so, example: i lied about something , but i know i was in the wrong and i ask gods forgivness after telling the person i lied to the truth. when judgement day comes, and i still going to be judged on that lie. basically, if i'm forgiven here, when i go to heaven, will my sin still count against me? i've wondered this since i was a little girl... thank you!

There will be no concrete evidence to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt in everyones head that God does exist. (Until it it is too late)

Absolute Proof of the Bible would totally kill Faith.

Faith is one of the most important things in all of creation.

Hebrews 11
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which ware seen were not made of things which do appear.....

There have been countless martyrs blood shed in the name of Faith... And God will surely never send us this proof thereby making the saints sacrifices in vain.

If you are a researcher of religion then you understand Paganism and Christianity share many things in common, such as the Pagan Guardians of the Watchowers, rulers of the four directions, later became the Christian arch Angels Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael. My question is this, where can I find some good sources to Arch Angel magik, info on the guardians of the watchtowers, and how other pagan traits Christianity stole, like Christmas, Easter, and the rebirth of their God. Yes, all those were originally Pagan, then Christianity came along and stole it. So yeah, I need more resources. Any suggestions?
